In the lower town, where the active city with its supermarkets is located, the small bus station is a busy crossroads. Local buses shuttle passengers to the upper town, where the historic center unfolds, while regional coaches (Arriva-Autotrans, Brioni) pick up or drop off passengers from a popular regular service: Zagreb-Pula. The route passes through Karlovac, Rijeka, Opatija, Lovran, Plomin, Rabac... It skirts a beautiful stretch of rugged coastline.

Located northeast of the city center, the bus station handles heavy traffic on regional routes (Umag, Rovinj, Poreč, Vrsar, Opatija, Pazin, Medulin, Labin...), daily connections to Rijeka-Zagreb, Dubrovnik via Zadar and Split. Numerous buses to towns in neighboring countries, Italy, Trieste, Padua, Venice, Milan, Southern Slovenia and as far as Ljubljana. On the same site, you'll find intercity buses (airport, historic center) and inside the station, lockers and ticket counters.

The bus station in Poreč, a busy area, is a large complex. It is both a terminal for national buses and a terminus for local buses, which are connected to the surrounding villages and to Croatian and border towns. Some lines, passing through Pula, run several times a day, all week long, to Vinkovci, Ljubljana, Padua, Trieste and Zagreb. The Umag-Varaždin line crosses the entire country, passing through Novigrad, Poreč, Vrsar, Rovinj, Pula, Labin, Opatija, Rijeka, Karlovac, Zagreb..

This bus transport agency has been in existence for over 70 years. It has been around since the beginnings of tourism in the region. It covers Istria, the Croatian mainland and the Gulf of Kvarner, with regular rotations to Split, Zagreb and Rijeka. Routes and tours all over the peninsula as far as Belgrade or Trieste. Contrary to their name, there are no buses in the Brioni archipelago, and no passenger or private vehicles are allowed. Also offers an airport shuttle service.
