Just 8 km from the city center, this airport is a convenient starting point for your trip to Croatia via Istria. If you arrive in Pula by plane, you'll be at the tip of the peninsula, a good base from which to explore the region. In summer, low-cost airlines EasyJet and Ryanair operate direct flights from Brussels or Paris. From Pula, domesticflights with Croatia Airlines or Ryanair land in Zagreb, Rijeka or Zadar. MARINA NAUTICA NOVIGRAD

Boat and ferry

On the northwest coast of Istria, in a naturally deep and sheltered cove of the Bay of Novigrad, a first-class marina has been built. It is very well designed, perfectly conceived in terms of the layout of the quays (365 berths and 50 dry berths), and offers a wide range of activities and facilities, paying special attention to wealthy yachtsmen staying at the Hotel Nautica just opposite. For them, there is a popular gastronomic table in the evenings, wellness facilities and concerts.

GARE FERROVIAIRE

Train

In Croatia and Istria in particular, the rail network is underdeveloped. Based on a railroad line running alongside the sea, a 15-minute walk from the town center, Pula's train station is somewhat isolated. It only serves regional lines. Tickets are available for inland Istrian towns such as Pazin and Buzet, and as far as Koper, a Slovenian seaside resort on the border. For Rijeka, the train stops at Lupoklav, where a bus completes the journey. More connections for northern Istria to Trieste or Ljubljana.
