The Spanish airline Iberia operates five weekly direct flights between Madrid and San Juan, Puerto Rico (Tuesday through Saturday). As part of a promotional collaboration agreement signed in 2022, Iberia is committed to promoting the destination in Europe. By avoiding holiday periods, summer and spring vacations, and booking well in advance, it is possible to travel at a very affordable rate. The flight time from Madrid airport (MAD) to San Juan (SJU) is 8.5 hours. From Europe, Iberia is a good option.

Paris's largest airport, inaugurated in 1974, has three terminals, which are divided into several smaller ones. The airport is so large that it can be reached by automatic metro. It is well served by several freeways, and has a TGV station that provides direct access to virtually all French cities. Bus and RER are the most popular means of getting to Paris, while metro line 17 will reach the airport by 2030.
