For more than 20 years, the village of La Haye-de-Routot, in the northwestern part of the Eure department, has been struggling every even year to promote the benefits of nettle with unexpected recipes and variations of the perennial plant. Organized by the associations "Friends of Nettle" and "Living Lands", the festival celebrates its favourite plant and wild herbs. This event thus makes it possible to present all the uses of nettle, but also those of many plants unknown to the general public, who have come in ever-increasing numbers over the years.

Autumn is here and with it, the return of the Forgotten Vegetables Festival to La Haye-de-Routot, a small town located on the edge of the Brotonne forest. The day's programme includes workshops for children, gardening, cooking, conferences, exhibitions of carved vegetables, games and a large market. Everything is being done to restore the nobility of forgotten vegetables.

In Tourville-sur-Pont-Audemer, the Festival of the apple and the peasant tradition, which gives pride of place to the gestures and machines of yesteryear, celebrated its tenth edition in 2018. Walkers are invited to take a step back in time around an old wine press, a horse-powered apple merry-go-round, old equipment, demonstrations of wheat threshing, and discover ancient crafts that made the peasant life of yesteryear.

Every year, on the occasion of Saint-Michel, the Norman festival invites you to come and celebrate Norman culture in the heart of the beautiful Risle valley. Very involved locally, the association La Chouque offers a rich program: music, dances, games, local products, traditional Norman songs... Everything is there! Not to mention, of course, the place where the festivities take place: the priory of Saint-Philbert, a real jewel of Norman heritage. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with the roots, traditions and regional heritages, while enjoying the serenity of this beautiful place.
