Snowshoeing Rental and snowshoeing Jura

If you want to share a unique Nordic moment, this is for you. Le Ponard is an old alpine chalet nestled in the Risoux forest (1,200 m altitude). Individuals or groups can make a gourmet stop there at lunchtime, in the evening by reservation, or have a snack in the afternoon... It is the starting point for many hikes (even at night) accompanied by a qualified guide (animal tracks, tales under the stars, snowshoe walks...). The nights are enlivened with shows by regional artists. A real return to the roots.

Two Nordic ski areas (Foncine-le-Haut and Haute-Joux, at altitudes of 930 to 1,275 meters) combine 26 snowshoe trails and 285 km of Nordic runs! A colossal playground that you can explore at your own pace, over several days or just a few hours. These snowshoe loops, from 1 to 10 km in length, let you discover the snow-covered landscapes of the Jura, alternating between forest passages and ridge walks, without ever having to retrace your steps!
