GRS 28 practises caving, canyoning and via ferrata. Members also offer theme initiation, dedicated for example to the learning of wells descent or the exploration of underground rivers. Ideal for becoming a caving with impeccable technique!

The Cloister of the Cordeliers, whose walls are eight centuries old, offers an ideal setting at the Conservatory of Music and dance. Led by Michel Bienaimé, the Conservatoire provides quality Musical Training and Quality training. Instrument (classical or jazz), song, dance (classical, contemporary or jazz): small and large will only have an embarrassment of choice. However, please note that music theory and collective practice are compulsory when you choose a musical curriculum. The collective disciplines are fully valued, from the earliest age and whatever the curriculum, since the Symphony Orchestra, the Grand Choir and the Big Band of Chartres are renowned for the Conservatoire. Please note that during the school year, concerts are regularly organised… it is worth a visit!

Discover the department in the course of the Eure from the water base of Anet! If you're tall or just bold, many canoe trails are available between Sorel, Anet, Breuil and Saussay. If you are a little less, we offer you a small course of one hour, history to begin to introduce you less cheaply to the pleasure of this sport. All you have to do is throw yourself into the water!

The hiking path around the Loir for about 3,5 kilometres goes from mill to mill. The Courgain is the most impressive and is the starting point of the walk which makes a loop: still active, it is placed between several old buildings. At the other end, the mill of Battereau is a private property and is only visible from the road. While walking, you will discover species of birds and specific plants of these wetlands and tree-lined areas.

The village of Langey is linked on behalf of two French poets: from Birthplace and Rabelais. This 11 kilometre circuit is therefore part of the house of the latter, which was built next to the local castle. It also makes it possible to close to the church of the commune before discovering other remains of the feudal seigneury like barn under the tithes. This large building in length dates back to the th century. Finally, the promenade takes the walkers to Mersantes, a former local head-site.

Fishing, bowls, golf and various games… the proposals around the pond of Souancé-au-Perche are very numerous and allow for a good time around the water plan. Children and adults can come and take a walk. And to spend a few days in Souancé, the municipal campsite of the Rhône is located just behind the leisure grounds, with a huge parking lot for parking.

From the town to the forest passing through the river, the Bois de la Bois circuit allows to discover various landscapes in the south of the Eure-et-Loir. It starts with the city centre of Husk, from St. Mark Chapel on Rue des Changes in Place des Halles, where the market settles every week. Then the circuit passes through the wood where many species of animals are visible, before finishing through the path following the Ozanne and the recreation base. Many activities can be carried out around the water plan.

The least we can say is that the church Saint-Etienne de Meslay-le-Vidame is worth a detour. With its Doric inspiring columns worthy of Greek temples, the religious edifice attracts the eye when you go ahead. And this falls well because the church is one of the remarkable buildings of Meslay-le-Vidame and one of the stages of the discovery circuit of 8 kilometres that crosses the town and joins the little chapel of Andeville, to the east of Chartres road. After the church, walkers can see the castle of Meslay, the former home of local lords.

At the beginning of the church of St. Christopher, along the road of Flacey, it is possible to follow a pleasant and invigorating walk along the Loir. After leaving the road at a roundabout near the bridge that allows you to enter the town, the banks of the river, grass and sheltered by trees, allow to walk over several kilometres. At the beginning of the road, a beautiful stone wash invites you to take a look.

From the road along the green space, you can see the funny statues of characters playing golf or the. It is these constructions that accompany the practitioners of the mini golf facility located around the water station at the exit of the municipality towards Prasville. The water plan is also a place of walk, rest for all those who want to pause, especially for children because a playground is installed in this place.

One of the features of this tour circuit is the old Garnet bog at Garnet. Consisting of decomposed plants, this water plan feeds the valley of Voise, the river that winds then in the village and in the next village of Levainville. At the north and south end of the promenade, the mills of Poissac and Longreau are some of the outstanding points in this wooded area, not to mention that of Lonceux, converted into a guest house. It takes more than 3 hours to travel 13 kilometres from this circuit.

Two paths of discovery of Frazé and its surroundings depart from the castle square where both the monument monument of the commune, the monument to the dead and the town hall tronent. On 11 kilometres, the first walk tour of the corner houses is a small washing house with a small wash on Frazé; the second, 12,5 kilometres, part east and Montigny-le-Chartif to discover the valley of Foussarde, the river passing along the castle. The latter, with its red and white bricks, draws the eye. A visit to the park allows you to discover sometimes original constructions, such as this tower-arch planted in the middle, and always impressive.

Just at the entrance to the commune is indicated the leisure base. It includes tennis courts, a gym, a football field and above all a large pond. Extending over 4,5 hectares, it is the ideal place for fishermen and renowned for its highly populated waters. For others, the path to the water covered by trees is a nice hiking destination. Some picnic tables are also installed on the water side.

The village of Crecy-Smouldering is situated in the middle of the hiking road between Tréon and Fontaine-les-Ribouts. This GR 351, passing below the commune between the woods of Solferino and La Butte, makes it possible to take a break at Saint-Eloi-Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church and admire the remains of the work carried out by the marchioness de Pompadour which came to the castle castle. Indeed, Louis XV's favorite made a hydraulic system to channel the waters of Blaise to water the Garden.

When you arrive around the pond of the Twenty, between Oulins and Anet, the first thing you see is the surprising form of the Guinguette of Oulins. This bar-restaurant, with a polygonique shape, is located on the water side. On the other hand, this site is a pleasant promenade, protected from the departmental route by hedges of trees and parking to avoid the entrance of cars on the premises. Picnic tables are also available.

At the Canoe for All base, several programs are offered. First, 14 canoeing courses, where feasible over two days, which can be mixed with ATV. The club also hosts the Beavers of the Valley of the Eure and their water hike between May and September. Finally, the Canoe for All association makes it possible for you to make a lot of games, in general wood, which will remind you of good memories for adults who will gather their impressions of fairs or fairs.

Sur, petite Venice de la Beauce. When you go into an electric boat in this small town, we understand better why it inherited this nickname. Crossed by the Loir, this commune of 4500 inhabitants to the south of the Eure-et-Loir offers an unexpected facet to curious visitors. Starting from the wheel of the boats proposed by the harbour, the amateurs will discover traditional houses on the river with their set-up and decorated washer. These dwellings, dating from the Middle Ages and the beginning of the Renaissance, give a special stamp to the municipality, which is rather proud of this heritage. Some people have even gone further in the development of their architecture by building small scénettes of everyday life. During this passage, several buildings of Sur are visible: the King's Tower, a former th century dungeon still standing; the former Benedictine monastery of the th century, or the small bridge Saint-Jacques and the two ancient towers which constituted the city's fortifications in the XIII century.

From the church of Mignières to the Shiny Pond, the path of Santiago de Compostela borrows from the GR of countries and passes through some remarkable and pleasant communes and places. The start of the hiking trail begins between fields and forests to Junction. There a break is feasible at the edge of the stadium where the Eure passes. A little further, the GR arrives around Ver-lès-Chartres and the area of Tachainville. Then a new water plan offers its pleasant banks with games for children. Finally, it is the arrival of the Shiny. Riding, fishing or walking, many activities can be carried out in this environment.

Among the many water planes that cross in the drouaise agglomeration, that of Mézières-Ecluzelles is probably the largest and most animated. Around 120 hectares, hikers or fishermen will be happy. The most sporty guests will be able to enjoy the water base and the yacht club of the Drouais country, which has been elected on the water floor (see rates above). The structure allows to make windsurfing, sailing boat and canoe to discover the Eure.

When you finish the walk of the banks of the Eure, the Shiny ponds extend under the eyes of walkers. Around the water plan, a short path along the woods that can be crossed and discovered. On the other hand, the Equestrian Club of the Chimes opens its headway and the noise of hooves rings above the ponds. As soon as a ray of sunshine appears, the edges of the pond are very pleasant for a good nap.

From Châteauneuf to Saint-Maixme-Hauterive and from Jaudrais to Torçay, the forest of Châteauneuf-en-Thymerais covers over 1730 hectares. The ideal place to observe wood animals and to introduce to forestry, taking into account tree tree essences in the forest, the Thymerais area is also a testimony to the region's royal past. Hikers in the forest will be able to walk through the royal driveway or walk around the King's or France's circle. In these places you will also discover some kinds of stone obelisks, surprising in the heart of wood but real, which dates from the th century and which probably served as ralliement for fox hunters.

This hiking trail begins in the village of Amilly. Roman city, then step on the chemin de Sully, which supported its castle of Villebon at the return of the courtyard of Henri IV, Amilly went through eras. The church church, in particular, allows to project the th and th centuries by discovering the murals that are housed there. After visiting the church, it is possible to follow the hiking path towards Ouerray and the Mare to the pigs in the south-east, or to the Mare du Croc in the north. In all these places, and throughout the course, panels provide explanations about the history, fauna and flora of these areas.

From Bailleau-l'Evêque, two hiking paths allow to discover the valley of the Eure. The first, 8 kilometres south of the town, is called the road to the Louis XIV River, other name of the canal of the Eure which was supposed to link Pontgouin to Versailles passing through Maintenon. This route allows you to discover the section of this channel passing between Bailleau and Amilly. The other hiking route, 11 km, passes north of Bailleau-l'Bishop. It allows to discover the castle of Levesville, which does not visit but which deserves a glance, and is spotted by the bounds of the jurisdiction of the bishop of the place when the region was governed by the Chapter.

It is called the Promenade Valley parkway. Between the village of Fresnay-le-Gilmert and the hamlet of Sénarmont, on 7,5 km, the path borrows a part of the path of Santiago between Chartres and Dreux. On the route, it is possible to discover the church Saint-Just of the th century, the Croix de la Pierre-Pohon and the Place du Calvary. The Devil Valley, which gives its name to the promenade, is in fact a ditch that must be crossed to the Bois bridges by walking close to the cereal fields that extend out of sight in that part of the department. 

The village of Cintray extends to the west of Amilly and the hiking trail allows you to discover the little jewels it contains. Among them, the Mare in the Saint or the park allows the village to deserve its two flowers in the competition of flower villages. By pushing a walk a little further, the wood of Du is a pleasant place to discover, as is the wood of Mande. Panels are arranged on the route with explanations about the fauna and flora living in these places.

From the place of the town hall of Briconville, three walks, ranging from 4 km to 8 kilometres, allow you to discover some of the remarkable sites in the surrounding area. Among them, a picnic site to spend a quiet moment in a country place, the former Louis XIV canal, the old calvary on the promenade of Tessouville… Also note that an exit in the vicinity of Bailleau-the Bishop allows to discover the fauna and flora of the valley of the Eure.

This is a circuit that almost deserves to be done on the contrary… Indeed, the program provides for a departure in front of the church and then along the Fermented basin by turning its back at the castle of Saint-Simon. Except that anyone who has arrived on this great road, between the two rows of trees that give an incredible perspective on the remains, understands the interest of returning through this path. However, in both cases, the cyclist will enjoy the calm of the Forêt-Vidame forest in which the chapel of Réveillon is nestled with its recent murals. Please check carefully before the church is open! And after the ATV exit, nothing prevents you from going to the arboretum.

No it is not just the Eure and the Loir as rivers in the department! Other rivers fed the beauceronne land, such as the Drouette and Voise rivers. The 24 km walk from Epernon has the particularity of passing through these rivers which feed the Louis XIV canal, whose remains are visible during the exit. Other remarkable landscapes that can make pleasant and interesting stops: the castle of the favorite Madame de Maintenon and the Conservatory of Grinding and Pavés.

From Sunrise to Maintenon, the valley of the Eure will have no secrets for the athletes who will follow the 43 kilometers of the circuit "By mountains and by Vaux". Starting from the old abbey of Josaphatpark in Ascend, cyclists will move near the castle of Vauventriers in Champhol and discover the villages that stretch along the river. Saint-Prest, Mévoisins, Saint-Piat, Jouy. The circuit also breaks in villages inside the department such as Oisème or Chartainvilliers.

Diving in the Thymerais. Between Dreux and Normandy, about kilometres from Chartres, the forest of Châteauneuf is a pleasant landscape for a mountain bike ride as the "Châteauneuf Forest" route proposes. The Royal Alley or the Tour de France allows to find vestiges of the th century when the mills or forges present north of the journey, towards Saint-Ange-et-Torçay or Fontaine-les-Ribouts, remember that the Eure and Loir was also an industrial land. This story is also identifiable on the circuit of the Blaise Valley around Maillebois and Blévy.

The mountain community of Perche-Gouet offers numerous hiking routes. The Altars-Villevillon, Moulhard, Mottereau, Gohory, Husk are some of the municipalities to discover during these paths, which are marked by blue marks, ranging from 12,5 to 14 kilometres. These walks are an opportunity to discover local heritage such as Bois woods, Notre-Dame churches or devotion to the Archangel Saint-Michel.

It is a very beautiful part of the department, bathed by the Eure and dotted with ponds, that this cycling circuit runs. The most remarkable elements of the journey are in the second part, in the vicinity of Saint-Luperce. At this place, the road runs through the river, sometimes in the shade of the weeping willows that drive on the banks of the Eure, and passes in front of the castle of Blanville. The ponds of Haraumont, along the road, are also very pleasant and peaceful corners where few cars venture.

Within the framework of the "Route du Blé en Beauce", about fifteen communes of the south of the department joined together to make discover the specificities of this territory. Among them, the agricultural heritage holds a place of choice with the visit of farms, where cereals are mainly cultivated, in particular wheat or beet. The valleys crossed by the rivers irrigating the Eure-et-Loir are also places for canoeing or walking.

On the Fontaine-Simon lake, water sliding is available to all. In the heart of the Perche region, give yourself a fun and natural break with this guaranteed thrilling activity! The water ski lift allows you to discover the joys of water skiing, but also wakeboarding, wakeskating or kneeboarding, while being pulled by a rope attached to a cable. Supervised by qualified instructors, this fun activity can be practiced from 10 years old. Note that the cable can pull up to 8 people at the same time. Laughter guaranteed!

Champhol's Randonnée Cyclo Téléthon is an excellent opportunity to cycle for a good cause: the Telethon. Organized in partnership with the Tous en Jaune association, the ride offers three routes suitable for all levels: 70 km, 45 km and a family route of up to 20 km. Supervision is provided at the start and on the family trail. Registration fees are €5 (€3 for under-16s). A hot drink, pancakes and cakes await you at the finish. Helmets are recommended.

The Écuries du Grand Chemin in Digny is a certified equestrian center offering riding lessons, rides and courses. The facilities are suitable for all levels and the horses are well maintained. The team is made up of state-qualified instructors, including Quentin DUFLOS, who teaches riding from baby ponies to advanced riders, and Pascal DUFLOS, an equestrian tourism guide for rides and hikes. The equestrian center also welcomes trainees throughout the year. The atmosphere is friendly and family-oriented. To offer a quality experience, the welcome is organized and attentive, safety on horseback is taken care of professionally and the teachers are qualified. Gift vouchers are available for a one-hour group lesson or a ride.

The Club Canoë Kayak Dunois is a water sports club located at the foot of the Château de Châteaudun, offering canoeing and kayaking and associated disciplines. The club also offers year-round sporting activities, accessible with a permanent license. For those wishing to discover canoeing on a more occasional basis, it is possible to take out a temporary license for a trip during the summer season. Canoeing and kayaking is a sport that's accessible to all, and a great way to discover nature on the water.
