Created by the commune of Béganne, it became an inter-communal port in 1984, bringing together the communes of Nivillac and Péaule. The port can accommodate over 320 boats on pontoons and moorings. It has a slipway, a boatyard on either side of the shore, a restaurant on the Béganne side and picnic tables.
