The couple have lived in Pico for over 30 years, and the little store is in the same place as their home. So it's open every day, just let us know! And if you're lucky, you might even see the potter at work... Everything is made on the spot, by hand. Each piece is unique: decoration, tableware, traditional pieces, more modern pieces... A wonderful discovery. What's more, you'll be offered a welcome drink!

This small store run by Nidia is located right next to the Santo Antonio church square and its belvedere overlooking the ocean and the island of São Jorge. Here you'll find beautiful souvenirs made from the black lava stone typical of Pico. Statuettes, jewelry, everything is handmade. Opening times are not always respected; if you find the door closed, don't hesitate to call Nidia and she'll come and open it for you! A beautiful local crafts store.

Isabelle has set up her studio on the tip of the island. Here, she paints on azulejos using the traditional technique that has been used in Portugal for 500 years. Figurative drawings, magnets, small games, trivets or larger, more ambitious panels - there's something for everyone, and it's all hand-painted. Isabelle also organizes workshops in French to help you learn how to paint your own azulejo. A very pleasant address!
