The ONF has marked out nine hiking trails that allow you to discover the original beauty of the Vieux-Fort mangrove: the Ouliée flow. The details of the tracks and trails are available on the website of the tourist office. The equestrian brigade of the ONF patrols the state forests of the coast for prevention. The island being the first egg-laying site of the Lesser Antilles, the ONF is committed to the protection of marine turtles that come to lay eggs at night on the beaches. The approach is possible with a guide of the ONF (reservation required).

This very professional team composed of Christian and Jean-Luc has more than 30 years of experience and countless dives around Marie-Galante. They are both state certified instructors. It is necessary to be present 15 minutes before the departure at the diving center of Saint-Louis. It is recommended to book at least the day before. You will dive on various sites of the protected coast of Marie Galante and according to your level on more than 4 km of coral reef, very little explored. To book, remember to call the day before.

Here's a new way to discover Marie-Galante. Come aboard these no-license boats (less than 6 hp) for a day on the lagoons between Grand-Bourg and the beach at Les Trois-Îlets, with family or friends. The boats can accommodate up to 9 people, with the option of adding a skipper. The team will provide you with a cool box and a gas barbecue, and the boats are equipped with Bluetooth speakers. Departing from Saint-Louis, state-certified Grégory will take you on board his boat for a day or 1/2 day of inshore fishing (3h), deep-sea fishing (6h) or marine wildlife observation.
