It's an excellent place for a gourmet break before or after a dip in the sea. The store offers a range of breads, pastries, sandwiches, salads, quiches, savoury tarts, focaccia, fresh juice from a local producer, and much more. Beyond being a feast for the eyes, the pastries are a delight for the taste buds (chocolate banana mousse, coconut islet, cream tart...).

This bakery-pastry shop is very practical, as it is located on the access road for yachtsmen setting sail from the Bas-du-Fort marina. It's also a great place to take a picnic on the beach or on the boat, or to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Every day, you'll find a wide choice of excellent breads, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, viennoiseries and pastries, including very attractive formulas. The bakery is open every day, including public holidays.

This fisherman's motto is very engaging: "to make you enjoy the best of the sea". Here is a good address to find various species of fresh fish that are previously gutted and scaled. Every Saturday, Victor and Netty organize a market and open the doors of their farm, which also houses a cattle ranch, on request. It's an opportunity to learn how to eat healthily during your stay, with fresh, seasonal produce from healthy, responsibly grown agriculture. A good place to discover quality local fruit and vegetables (madeira, malanga, sugar cane, yams, sweet potatoes, papayas, giraumons, avocados, cucumbers...). The farm also offers overnight camping.

Fabienne Youyoutte, elected "Best artisan of France" in 2019, offers ice creams, sorbets, jams and pastries with the most surprising local flavors among which chili, manioc, sweet potato, giraumon... to discover in her stores (Pointe des Châteaux in Saint-François, Pointe-à-Pitre and Grand Bourg in Marie-Galante). The authenticity of the fruits and other local products is perfectly preserved for the delight of gourmet lovers. You can also enjoy a local tea with mignardises on the spot.

The Salon Duchesse is the perfect place to enjoy a sweet or savoury break at any time of the day. You are welcomed in a cosy atmosphere and in a very friendly atmosphere. There is a wide choice of waffles, bubble waffles, hot dogs, local tea, sweets and 100% local ice cream with tasty local fruit. Try the herring and saury waffle, for example...
