Lampaul is the village of the island, but also the rallying point after the landing, to discuss the modalities of discovering the island (cycling, hiking) and the place to meet for lunch or a drink before the boat leaves. Here, you can find almost everything: supermarket, bars, restaurants, bakery, pharmacy, school. You can also rent bicycles to go around the island, get information from the tourist office and, if your heart is in it, visit the church (remember that its bell tower was built thanks to donations from the British crown after the sinking of Drummond Castle). Going down, you can access the port of Lampaul, where the sailing school, the diving club and the lifeboat are located. At the southwestern end, the view of Lampaul Bay is magnificent. Note: it is in Lampaul that most of the festivities of the International Island Book Fair take place at the end of August.

Savéol, known for its tomatoes, opens the doors of its experimental farm which develops natural solutions to protect crops. Here you will learn all about bumblebees, small wasps and bugs, insects that are essential to the cultivation of plants and that help fight against harmful species. The visit takes place in two areas: one focused on pollination and the other on crop protection. It's fun and educational!

It is in a vast area of 625 hectares on the banks of the Saint-Vio lake that you will discover Maison de la Baie d'Audierne and all its resources. This house is actually a documentation and exhibition centre on the coastline, with the nature and art of the region in all its forms. To preserve this area, the Coastal Protection and the Association for the Promotion of the region of Bigouden came together so as to protect the ecological environment while preserving and enhancing the biological interest of this natural site. Through a naturalist hike, accessible to all, the riches of this mosaic protected areas are revealed to you. Feel free to come with binoculars ... La Maison de la Baie d'Audierne also offers permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as videos. Besides, nature walks and hikes on donkeys are organized!
