GOUESNOU CIRCUIT
A tour to discover the history of the town of Guesnou, as well as the pierced stone, rue de Calvaire and the present-day church.
Gouesnou is a great town for walking. It offers a variety of routes, allowing you to discover its history while enjoying a green setting, the longest path being 10 km long. Don't miss the pierced stone on rue du Calvaire, which according to legend cured sick limbs, and the present-day church, which has parts dating back to the 15th century. On Ascension Day, there's an eighteen-kilometre "troménie" (from the Breton tro-minihi, "tour de minihi"), and you can also drop in at "La maison du patrimoine", which keeps a record of past events in this commune, open to the public one Sunday afternoon a month and from Tuesday to Saturday.
