Surfing Côtes-D'Armor

Local stand-up paddle surfing champion Alexis Deniel runs a surf school on Trestraou beach, where he began his career. The safe spot is perfect for beginners and experienced surfers alike. You can learn or perfect your surfing or stand-up paddling skills, for one session or a whole week. PSS also offers supervised stand-up paddle trips along the Pink Granite Coast, accessible to all. Children are of course welcome. Don't forget to book your session!

It's Thomas who hides behind the name of the big clawed plush that you don't spontaneously imagine on a surfboard. He started surfing around the age of 15, on the same wild beach that he offers you to discover by the wave. You will enjoy learning or improving your surfing skills with this cheerful and attentive instructor. The stand-up paddle rides are done around the Verdelet islet, to the great joy of sea bird lovers. Quality equipment is provided and can also be rented.

It is difficult to pass by Cap Fréhel without meeting people who are addicted to water sports in all its forms, as the place lends itself to this type of activity. But before practicing solo, it is better to go through discovery and initiation courses. Located in a Natura 2000 zone, the Armor Surf School team offers a range of activities (surfing, bodysurfing, paddle), with adapted and personalized teaching to progress with pleasure towards autonomy. An excellent way to discover the aquatic environment, at almost any age!

In love with the sea, Antoine shares his passion for gliding, in complete safety, on the beaches between Cap Fréhel and Cap d'Erquy, as well as at the foot of the cliffs of Plouha, depending on your level. Different formulas are proposed: discovery session, weekly training course, stroll in stand up paddle... With, each time, a playful and tested pedagogy, so that each one can progress at his own pace and according to his desires. Sessions last 2 hours (1h30 for 5-8 year olds), which gives you time to familiarise yourself with your board and the local wave.

Maël has a master's degree in environment, in addition to his surfing instructor diploma. He will make you benefit from his knowledge in ornithology and geology during the inflatable stand-up paddle rides, towards the Fréhel Cape. On the surfing side, you will learn to surf on the beaches of Sables d'Or (Fréhel), Saint-Pabu (Erquy) or Grèves d'en bas (Plévenon), according to the weather conditions. Training courses, private lessons and children's packages are available. The material is adapted, of quality and the teaching is clear and individualized.
