Read moreLocated between Plaza de la Corredera and Guadalquivir, it is housed in the 15th century Hospital de la Caridad. It presents the evolution of Cordoba painting and sculpture from the 14th century to the present day. With a special place for Andalusian Baroque painters: Zurbarán, Antonio del Castillo, Valdés Leal and Palomino. There are also works by Jiménez Aranda, Carlos de Haes, Romero Barros, Regoyos, Santiago Rusiñol, Sorolla and Zuloaga. As well as sculptures by Juan de Mesa and a collection of drawings.

MUSEO DEL OLIVAR Y EL ACEITE
Read moreOpened in 2003, it is installed in an old mill. On 2 floors, the history and different uses of the olive, its juicy elixir and even its stone (energy fuel) are discussed. Complete, playful and very well designed, it includes a workshop and a projection room. In November, the museum organizes the Olive and Oil Days with exhibitions, a series of conferences, competitions and gastronomic tours.

Read moreA passage through this museum helps to better understand the importance of Cabra and its surroundings throughout history. Created in 1973, he first had his seat in the town hall dependencies. But since 1984, he has occupied the building that was the Banco de España and is now the house of culture. It is accessed through a forged iron door, flanked by four columns of red marble from Cabra. It occupies most of the ground floor, the remains being arranged around the "patio of columnas", thus referred to as the ten columns of red marble that make up this covered patio. Most of the exposed objects come from excavations carried out in two places, Villa del Mitra and Veleña, and are presented in chronological order from Paleolithic to these days.

Read moreLocated in the Adolfo Lozano Sidro Cultural Centre, this museum was created in 1983, one of the pioneers in the region in the archaeological field. In a circuit of 4 rooms, it presents the collections of objects found in the comarca of Priego de Córdoba (only a minimal part), with pieces that go from the Paleolithic to the Roman period, passing through the Neolithic and the Bronze Age. We will take the opportunity to discover the paintings of Adolfo Lozano, a disciple of Sorolla.

In the cloister, Roman mosaics from Fuente Alamo are noted. In its part, the ethnography refers to the Puente Genil industrial de from the end of the th and early th centuries and, in particular, its expertise in agri-food industry, with tools and models that retraçant the manufacture of quince paste (membrillo).

Read moreJosé Victor Rodríguez Caro, better known as Victorio, and José Luis Medina del Corral (Lucchino) are two Andalusian designers who began their careers in Seville in the late 1970s. Since June 2022, their museum in Victorio's hometown has been housed in the former Santa Clara monastery, a 16th-century building. It retraces their career in 7 rooms, displaying some sixty pieces, including their wedding dresses.
