The Aéroclub du Grand Chalon, located in Fragnes-la-Loyère, is a flying club that welcomes pilots, student pilots and aviation enthusiasts from Chalon-sur-Saône and the surrounding area. Based at the Chalon Champforgeuil airfield, the flying club has 4 pilot instructors and 2 aircraft, offering the chance to practice leisure aviation or discover the pleasures of flying. It also offers training courses for the Brevet ULM, Brevet de Base (BB), LAPL and PPL. The Association des Amateurs d'Aéronefs, of which the flying club is a member, is affiliated to the RSA federation (Réseau du Sport de l'Air).

At the departure of the Aérodrome-Cuisery Altimage airfield, the air starts baptisms. . Children (for eight years) can also taste the pleasures of flying and shiver by discovering the feeling of freedom emanating from them.

Have you always dreamed of flying, but are afraid of jumping out of a plane? Then head for Sky Circus, the department's only free-fall simulator, founded by Titou and Béatrice, two enthusiasts with thousands and thousands of skydives under their belts. This outdoor simulator's tube may not be as wide as those in the big cities, but the warmth of the welcome more than makes up for it. And that doesn't stop taller skydivers from enjoying the thrill of starting to glide. Unlike real freefall, there are few contraindications.

What better gift than a hot air balloon flight over the magnificent landscapes of the Southern Côte Chalonnaise? In the early morning or evening, when the air is cooler (and therefore more "stable" to guarantee the flight), fly over the vineyards, woods, pastures and plains on board the gondola placed under a balloon in the colours of a local wine estate. The pilot, Jean-Marc Lequime, will take advantage of the wind for a flight of one hour on average. You will assist in the assembly of the balloon and, at the end of the flight, over a glass of crémant, you will receive your diploma!

The "Tous en Vol" multi-axis microlight flying school offers a unique experience for aviation enthusiasts. Whether you want to obtain your ULM pilot's license, rent a ULM for a personal flight or enjoy a first flight, this school offers a complete range of services. With a fleet of three light aircraft, including STOL and travel microlights, "Tous en Vol" enables enthusiasts to discover the joys of microlight flying. The club, affiliated to the FFPLUM, is renowned for its friendly, dynamic atmosphere. It has 60 members and flies an average of 600 hours a year.
