With such a promising name, COM' Chez Nous knows how to be warm and friendly, offering generous and tasty cuisine. Not far from the small stage where the artists perform, you'll appreciate the authenticity of the dishes. Au Café Suspendu is one of those places that are springing up all over France, and which we at the Petit Futé really like. A cultural café that's a real place for sharing and conviviality. Always lively and vibrant, the establishment regularly hosts themed events (readings, games, slam evenings...) while, on the refreshment and catering side, you can enjoy lunch with daily specials, pastries and local drinks. A warm, bucolic place where you'll feel like you're in a bubble. Don't miss it!

Couleur Café is the kind of little address we love, especially when it's bursting with flavour! Located in the heart of the ducal town of Nevers, this coffee-shop has captured the hearts of the Nevers population! Guests can enjoy delicious coffees and other hot drinks, accompanied by homemade sweets. For lunch, a comforting dish of the day is also available. It's a real treat for the senses, which are awakened by the slightest scent, the slightest taste, the slightest crunchy bite. A very pleasant place!

Every summer, Monceaux-le-Comte hosts the theater festival Les Heures Festives, organized by Les Livreurs and Bookson. During this period, visitors can attend solo theater performances every evening from 6:45pm. These shows feature a performer who brings a play to life in one hour, with only his or her voice as ally. The festival also offers weekend workshops, from 10am to 5pm, for those wishing to learn more about literature. These include a reading aloud workshop and a solo theater workshop. Participants can enjoy a bike ride through the region, with reading breaks and a picnic on arrival. The Les Heures Festives festival takes place in the charming grounds of the former presbytery in Monceaux-le-Comte, but also offers events in the surrounding communes to showcase the local heritage.

In mid-December 2023, Florent Bardin, a winegrower from Verdigny (Cher), opened this pub which is already livening up Cosnois evenings. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, you'll find a wide selection of beers and wines from his estate (Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé). But that's not all! To accompany the tasting, charcuterie and cheese boards are also available. What's more, there's karaoke every Friday, and a pop rock concert one Saturday a month. No doubt about it, we love this new place!

At the end of 2023, David and Simon Gressot opened the doors of this cosy tearoom, which offers lunchtime catering with a unique daily special. An excellent Sunday brunch is also available (reservation required). Above all, you'll love the fantastic home-made pastries, all made with fresh, local ingredients. At Le Petit Futé, we've fallen for the orange meringue tart and the lemon-green tea and white chocolate pound cake. Not forgetting the Sachertorte with apricot jam. As for the welcome, it's top-notch!

The brewery Ô Lieu now has its own bistro where you can come and taste its craft beers accompanied by delicious local products. Beside his beers, Denis Lechopier also proposes local wines, softs from Franche-Comté and a pastis from Indre. The place invites you to relax and enjoy the bar in a very 1970s spirit, or rather in an intimate way, curled up in the velvet sofas. Plates of local charcuterie, vegetables and cheeses make the moment tasty. A new landmark not to be missed in the ducal city!
