Wanchako is a Peruvian restaurant run by the Bert family since 1994. The decor, like the cuisine, is simple and tasteful. As you can see, this establishment is partly dedicated to meaty food. The Carnedo Sol do Ramiro is a pleasant restaurant located at the seaside proposing the typical dishes of the North-Eastern cuisine (manioc chips, picanha...). More classically, you can try surubim, a typical fish from the São Francisco River, or a picanha in the Argentine style.

In a small fort, clinging to the hill, the Forte da Rocheira restaurant seems to protect the city from a possible enemy coming by the river. In this rather picturesque setting, the Forte da Rocheira offers a good and varied cuisine, but one also comes there and especially for the very nice view on the river.
