There's no denying that this is an ideal place to be. Here you can drink the craft beers made by the house in front of the river. It is worth remembering that Brazil is undoubtedly the other country of the hopped beverage. Amazonian flavours have been subtly combined with traditional beer components. Seven options to try: Amazon Red, Black, Weiss (with wheat), River (stronger), Forest Bacuri Beer (made with the essence of the fruit), Ipa Cumaru (Amazonian vanilla) and Stout Açai. The Bar do Armando is a traditional Manaus place, as we like it. This simple establishment, with a red front, welcomes tourists and locals on its traditional red plastic tables and chairs. Inside, the decoration is... eclectic. Carnival figures that look like they came from Olinda, flags from many countries... Located next to the theatre, the atmosphere is lively at the end of the day. In addition to the beers, the customers and tourists of passage ask for the sandwich pig with lemon. Music on some evenings.

From a distance, with its green tables and chairs and vaguely Art Deco kiosk, you'd be forgiven for thinking you were in a Parisian park or on the Old Continent. Open non-stop, the Bar do Parque welcomes late-night and early-morning revelers. It's the bohemian place par excellence, open for a quarter of a century! It's home to arguably the best shrimp salgado in town. It's after 5 p.m. that the bar comes alive, and you can enjoy the freshness of the fruit juices and beer.

The Roxy bar has been a favorite of Belém locals since 1984, and is still one of the city's best addresses. Here, dishes and drinks are named after artists and other personalities. The atmosphere is vaguely Art Deco, casual, with walls and roof made of brick and thatch. Numerous paintings refer to the stars whom the food and drinks honor. There's another Roxy Bar in one of the city's shopping centers, but the atmosphere is less original and friendly than in the original bar.
