The Roxy bar has been a fixture in Belém since 1984. For young and old alike, it remains one of the city's best addresses. Here, dishes and drinks are named after artists and other personalities. The atmosphere is vaguely Art Deco, relaxed, with walls and roof made of brick and thatch. Numerous paintings refer to the stars whom the food and drinks honor. There's another Roxy Bar in one of the city's shopping centers, but it's far less convivial than the one in the city center.
