Beer enthusiasts all know this place with an easy-to-remember name: Beerz. Here, no less than 500 references of beer, 30 of cider, and about twenty references of spirits are proposed to you by Christelle, the mistress of the place. It is possible to taste on the spot, inside or on the terrace, with or without boards. The place, which aims to be a beer academy, also proposes workshops around the famous beverage, all in an educational and pleasant atmosphere. A choice and advice of great quality, we validate!

This is the temple of wines and spirits in Granville: the Maison du Vin, which bears its name well, offers hundreds of references. Wine productions of course, but also whiskies, rums, sometimes rare spirits, there is no lack of anything here. The place is vast, the opening hours wide, and the advice here is not an empty word. Parking is easy and practical. Of course, the shop offers a wide range of services for your private events, be it weddings, banquets or other receptions.

Théo Capelle tells the story of cider, calvados, apples, and its fabulous nectars, from a family production. The Théo Capelle cider-distillery consists of 10 hectares of orchards, 6,500 apple trees, fifteen varieties, a press and a shop. The orchard, distillery and shop can be visited all year round. You can stroll through the apple tree alleys, listen with delight to the sweet vocabulary of apple work, and discover the still where the AOC Calvados and the AOC Normandy pommeau are distilled. Of course, you can taste some of the clever potions!

In Grosville, in the authentic setting of the Commanderie, Jean-François Vaultier invites you to discover his cider products. He also makes calvados, pommeau (an aperitif made from cider and calvados), apple juice, cider vinegar, cider confit, as well as apple, elderberry and rhubarb jam and blackberry jelly. During the visit of the press dating from 1942, still in use in this old farm, you will be explained how cider is made... It's interesting and you can leave with your bottles!

This cellar is a veritable haven for lovers of alcoholic beverages - in moderation, of course! Here, you're sure to find what you're looking for: white, red and rosé wines, champagnes and whiskies in abundance. Run by an enthusiastic team who are always ready to give you good advice, the place is vast and, contrary to popular belief, is not only frequented by Englishmen who have just arrived in the city's port.

After several years in Gratot, a few kilometres away, Captain James is now in Agon-Coutainville, joining a larger space to develop his activities. These are well known locally: the brewing of beers, which come in all colours: white, blonde, red and brown, not forgetting IPA, with its distinctive aroma. You can find them on site from Thursday to Saturday, or at the Coutainville market. You can also visit the premises on the first Saturday of each month. Note that bottles are returnable.

On the little Place Alfred-Rossel, right in the centre of Octeville, there's no shortage of shops, including the Cave de la Butte. In this store, run by a true expert, Romain, we'll take the time to help you make the right choice, especially when it comes to food and wine pairings for your receptions, far from the standards of hospitality generally seen in franchises in the sector. There's also a fine selection of beers and spirits. The restaurant is also open on Sunday mornings.

A very nice place. V and B (for "wine and beer" but, as smart readers as you are, you will have understood it!) is a vast place that offers, let's face it, one of the biggest choices in the department: several hundred wines, other beers, but also spirits, some of which are difficult to find elsewhere. To complete the whole, a space is dedicated to tasting.

You can't visit the cider factory's production facilities, but you'll be warmly welcomed here. Francis Dupont's Cidrerie de la Brique has come a long way since it was founded in 1953. The nectars are made from apples (and pears) harvested in Cotentin orchards planted with traditional, high-stemmed apple trees and more recent, low-stemmed apple trees of carefully selected varieties. In addition to cider, you'll find pommeau, poiré, organic apple juice... and a 33 cl format called La Brick.

The activity of the Coquerel estate lies in the manufacture, storage and marketing of AOC Calvados and Pommeau. The visit of the domain, nestled in a green corner of the bocage, will allow you to discover the secrets of the manufacturing of this emblematic drink of Normandy. You will be impressed by the quantity of apples brewed, by the cellars where 10,000 hectolitres of Calvados are aged, enough to turn your head. Visits and tastings can be made here all year round: there is no shortage of beautiful proposals.

Located in the heart of the Galanderie artisanal zone, Cav' Aventure is first and foremost a beautiful and vast cellar: it's hard not to find something to suit your taste in wines, beers and spirits. Thomas and Paul's advice is always well-informed, not to mention the many events organized here throughout the year. You'll also find delicatessen products here, as well as a range of services for small events. All in all, a multi-faceted venue that's a local sure thing!

For a few months, Karim Samaté has successfully opened his vineyard, along the very busy Villedieu road. The latter, gradually becoming an amateur, and then connoisseur of wine, decided to take the step by now standing at the head of his own establishment. There are now about 500 references, no less, which are offered to the enthusiasts. This is obviously not all, as stronger spirits, beers, and some fine grocery products are also offered. A real treat.

Taken over by the young Louis Dethezy some time ago, the venerable Ferme de la Butte, whose cider products have long been a reference, remains among the best establishments in the business. Today, the farm is still the place of production, and it has a nice little cider museum. There is also a point of sale at the nearby Château de Chanteloup, as well as at the Crécey farm market in Saint-Pair-sur-Mer in the summer.

The microbrewery principle is developed here, and we know how to do it! And with good reason: after several years of amateur brewing, it was time to move up a gear, and for good reason: excellent vintages are developed here. From grain crushing to bottle labelling and fermentation, everything is done locally. Blonde, amber or brown, they're well worth a try! Fée d'Orge has numerous distribution outlets.

A well-known local cider maker with no shortage of products and certifications attesting to the excellence of its production. Masterfully run by Vincent Pichon, Le Brécéen cider house is located in the heart of the Normandy bocage. The premises, which have been awarded the "haute valeur environnementale" (high environmental value) certification, allow you to discover marvellous ciders, as well as calvados and many other products: juices, compotes and jellies. The boutique is open Tuesday to Thursday mornings, and all day Friday and Saturday!

The Hérout family's property is composed of orchards of selected cider apples certified Organic Agriculture. It is in the respect of traditional cultures, with 100% organic productions, that a unique cider is produced here, benefiting from the PDO Cidre Cotentin, and developed according to several exceptional vintages. That's not all, here we also produce pommeau and calvados, also among the best in the whole region, as well as fruit juice and vinegar. The place is well worth a visit.

If you're familiar with the Maison des Produits Régionaux, also known as Vergers de la Passion, located in Martinvast, then you're going to love the cider house! Located in Rauville-la-Bigot, some ten kilometers from the store (you'll have to head for Bricquebec), it can be visited from April to September and offers visitors the chance to discover how cider and vinegar are made. The tour ends with a tasting session.

It is an independent wine shop, in the heart of the city, and is run by a true connoisseur in the field: Philippe Mahier. La Cave du Roy offers hundreds of wines, stored in the cellar below the shop, allowing them to age and improve in optimal conditions. Here, we are not at a wine shop like so many others: we take the time to listen to your requests, your questions, and your tastes, to provide you with the best advice!

Once you've been reminded - and rightly so - that the drink should be consumed in moderation, there's no reason to avoid a visit to the premises, or even a tasting! The GAEC des Poumyis produces Fouchard Calvados, as well as ciders and pommeau. Of course, you can also visit the winery to learn more about the production process. You can also buy these marvels on site, to round off your visit to this lovely place in style - and taste!

Brewery La Loup Bar has been offering its excellent beers for five years now: the friends who decided to take up the challenge of producing and distributing these delicacies have certainly done the right thing. Several beers are on offer, including a blonde, a white, an amber, a brown and a triple! They're all excellent, and have already delighted many consumers who swear by them!
