Where to climb Manche

The local relief allows climbing enthusiasts to indulge their passion. To reach it, from the centre of Mortain, you take the direction of the Petite Cascade to reach this site which offers a dozen routes from level 4 to level 7. The Gobi crack which rises along the Aiguille de Mortain has made the reputation of this site where many amateurs come. In the sixties, this famous crack would have seen great names such as Lionel Terray and René Desmaisons pass by: it's up to you to become their worthy descendants!

La Fosse-Arthour is one of the best known and most popular climbing sites in the Normandy bocage. This very hard sandstone bar offers a pleasant climb in this listed natural site. 160 routes are equipped with varying degrees of difficulty depending on your level - and your abilities!
