Railway station Manche

It's the largest and busiest in the département. Cherbourg station, right in the centre of town and just a few dozen metres from the Bassin du Commerce, links the city to Paris, Caen and other towns in Normandy via a dozen daily trains. Special feature: from the capital, you take the train at the small station of Vaugirard, itself located in the extension of the Montparnasse station. The other Normandy lines from Paris leave from the Saint-Lazare station.
