Cave Abonnat is a small winery located in the village square of Chalus, in the southern Puy de Dôme region. With 6.5 hectares of vines, it produces red, rosé and white wines, mainly from Gamay, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The entire harvest is vinified on site, using organic methods. In addition to wines, Cave Abonnat also offers a range of liqueurs made from plants, fruits and flowers from their own gardens and plots. Cave Desprat Saint Verny is a winery located in Veyre-Monton. It offers a wide range of volcanic wines, carefully crafted by men who are passionate about their terroir. The winery also has an online store where you can order wines and other products.

In the church of the Church of St. Mary, the Abbey cellars in Auvergne have been beautifully installed for more than 20 years. The location is superb, with its beautiful stones and harmonious vaults. The hotel offers excellent wines and entertainment such as wine tastings. On the other hand, cognac is rare but, once not usual, let yourself be tempted by their excellent wines!

Saint-Julien, a winegrowing village adjacent to Montaigut, is the ideal place for a picturesque walk along the cellar road. The curious and attentive walker discovers the entrances of the cellars dug in the tuff. They are, it seems, 142. The wine was stored there until the destruction of the vines by phylloxera. These cellars were then used for the refining of the Saint-Nectaire cheese. They are a curiosity of the local heritage. A hike of about ten kilometers.
