It serves high-quality Mediterranean cuisine revolving around seafood, the house specialty being Greek and French oysters fresh from the aquarium. But you can also opt for fish or lobster. The wine list is particularly rich in Greek varietals. Yannis, the owner, will be happy to advise you.
MARKAKIS
Read moreVery good restaurant, superbly located on the small port of Piso Livadi, run by the Markakis family. Delicious Greek cuisine, impeccable service. The products on offer are traditional Greek dishes, including a large choice of very fresh and well prepared fish. Eggplant caviar, tarama, zucchini fritters or grilled squid... Don't forget to book, as it is full almost all the time. Dessert and glass of raki often offered at the end of the meal... The prices remain reasonable for an excellent cuisine.
KIMA
Read moreA magnificent restaurant with a careful decoration and a modern design. As for the cuisine, the bar is also high. A traditional Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, but often revisited with a modern touch. The dishes are successful and well prepared, the salads are copious. The eggplant Napoleon, to give just one example, is simply succulent. Petros and his brother Michalis, the owners, who are originally from the Parian Islands, buy only from local producers and fishermen and select the best products.
KARINA
Read moreIt is one of the best Greek taverns on the island. Rich and inventive menu thanks to the inspiration of Yorgos who works in the kitchen with talent. It offers some traditional Greek dishes but above all homemade specialities: taste its "Fava" with caramelized onions and fresh mint or beetroot with goat cheese and nuts. Map in French. The friendly Karine (French-speaking) gets up early to bring back the best products on the market. Leave some space for dessert because they are just as good. Very cheap. Takeaway meals.
APOSTOLIS OUZERI
Read moreIf you really want to be in the local atmosphere, this is the place to go. Every year, the quality is always there in this restaurant, which is mostly frequented by locals and is located a little away from the centre. The restaurant is frequented by Greeks, fishermen, for whom Apostolis has been cooking for almost 30 years. Fish specialties, local wine, sea view. A good address for lovers of fried food and seafood. And in the end, the bill is never too high. Excellent value for money and very friendly staff.

TO SPITIKO
Read moreTo Spitiko is a way of saying "like at home", at Patricia's, a French expatriate in Paros after a crush on the Cyclades. The creator of this small haven of peace provides the service while, behind the stoves, her husband is passionate about cooking traditional recipes, thanks to the products gleaned from their local and organic producers as much as possible. The place is very pleasant and the cuisine delicious to enjoy in summer on the terrace with sea view (and sunset!) and in winter in a room with fireplace.
LEVANTIS
Read moreUndoubtedly one of the best addresses in Parikiá and a place that changes from the usual Greek restaurants. The setting is very pretty, in a patio covered with vines. This address offers a refined menu where Greek traditions and influences from elsewhere are mixed (beet and ginger ravioli, fennel risotto...). This contemporary approach does good and changes a little from the classics that can be found everywhere. Chef Giorgios Mavridis elegantly receives guests in a pleasant inner courtyard. A very very good address.
TRATA
Read moreHere's a family-run taverna faithful to the Cycladic tradition of blue and white and Greek hospitality. Open since 1995 and overlooking the bay of Livadia, Trata is renowned for its home cooking based on fresh, tasty produce. Lefteris, head chef and owner of the restaurant, has set himself the highest standards, and the main attraction is the tasty seafood and freshly caught fish. You'll find some of the best grilled calamari on Paros, not to mention all the classics of Greek cuisine.
TO TAKIMI
Read moreSituated in a pedestrian alleyway, To Takimi is an authentic Greek taverna that's a hive of activity at all hours of the day and night. Whether it's its welcoming shaded green patio, its sky-blue beams or its typical wooden furniture, everything makes you want to sit down here, even before discovering the menu. On the plate, unpretentious but well-executed Greek and Mediterranean cuisine: octopus in sauce, grilled fish, cheeses... All palates should be won over. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes more festive.
PIATSA ESTIATORIO
Read moreThis restaurant is perfectly placed, in the middle of the main avenue of Naoussa. One can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the street. And the owner is very friendly, as well as the team of waiters. As for the food, the mushrooms sautéed with garlic, onions and tomatoes are very good. The sautéed crayfish(saganaki) with ouzo, feta cheese and garlic, a great classic, are also very good. On the other hand, the seafood pasta is very dry, really disappointing. Nice restaurant, but a bit uneven.
CACTUS BEACH PAROS
Read moreThis hut located on the beach is not lacking in charm. If you want to sunbathe while sipping a cocktail and contemplating the island of Naxos, you can rent a deckchair and its parasol. Pork shank with potatoes, sardines or mussels in ouzo with cherry tomatoes, fresh cream and gentian. Some rooms are available with sea or mountain view.
THALASSAMOU
Read moreWe are about to reveal one of our favorite addresses. The Thalassamou restaurant is located at the end of the beach, where it enjoys a royal isolation. We sit on the terrace or under the trees, with our feet in the water. The spot is charming but simple, you feel good. Marios Salmatanis, who revisits the local cuisine after training in France, serves incredible tarama, eggplant caviar, fava, sardines and guacamole, bruschetta, mussels with garlic and white wine, squid cooked in its ink... Everything is to die for. And it's not expensive at all!-
FISILANIS
Read moreThis beach restaurant opened in 1964 for bird hunters and is still run by the same family. It is typically the kind of beachside restaurant one would want to find on vacation. You dine with your feet in the sand and the food, although simple, is of excellent quality and prepared only with products from Paros. Don't forget to ask for the grilled fish, absolutely delicious. And the fava, beet and bread spreads are not to be outdone. Finally, not to spoil anything, the prices had the good taste to remain very low.
PAROS NAUTICAL CLUB
Read moreA little out of the city centre, the place is worth the trip. Here, on a spacious and pleasant terrace facing the sea, you will certainly not regret your breakfast or lunch at the Paros Nautical Club. All this with an excellent value for money for delicious Greek dishes made with fresh and local products. Without forgetting to enjoy the deckchairs on the "Blue Flag" beach, the beach volleyball and beach tennis courts, before why not take a sailing course in one of the most famous centres in Greece.
HENRY G
Read moreThis refined Mediterranean restaurant with a discreet French touch is beautifully set on a terrace overlooking a pedestrian street in Parikia. In cooler weather, you can also choose to dine in the sumptuously modern interior, with works of art hanging on the walls. We loved the spicy ceviche, the delicate clam pasta and the puffed chocolate cake, hidden in a cloud of barbapapa! The Porto Carras 2021 white wine also deserves a special mention. An ideal restaurant for a romantic dinner.

But the real show is on the plate: ceviche with passion fruit and tiger's milk, octopus with fennel root, sea bass with blue potato, corn and yucca, or spicy oxtail that has simmered for 48 hours... All washed down with a few glasses of Moraitis and Dialogos wines. A real treat!
