You can see his large terrace on the beach of Livadia. Adonis worked in Montreal for 15 years before setting up his restaurant in Parikiá. In 1980, he opened Cavo d'Oro and since then, he has enjoyed welcoming French speakers from all over the world to discover his specialties such as pizzas cooked over an olive wood fire, fresh homemade pasta, seafood spaghetti, risotto à la provençale and fresh fish from Paros. You will be spoilt for choice between five sizes of pizzas on the menu!

Owner's Message

The Greek-Italian restaurant Cavo D'Oro, opened in 1980, is today a reference point for its exquisite pizzas cooked over an olive wood fire and its different types of dough, including a bread dough traditionally kneaded every morning. It combines with knowledge the fresh local products and the secrets of the Greek cuisine with the famous and well known Italian cuisine.

Only 500 meters from the port and with a large terrace overlooking the sea, it offers a wide choice of Italian and Greek specialties.

Open from 11 am to midnight, it attracts many visitors, lovers of good food and warm atmosphere.

The owner, Adonis, is French speaking and will be able to give you all the necessary information.

We sat at a table on the beach. It wasn’t crowded at the time we dined. It was very relaxing with the sun about to set and the sound of the sea. We ordered the Greek bruschetta that had a wonderful olive spread topped with tomatoes and crumbled feta. I didn’t know the Greek had their own version, and I definitely recommend trying it. We also had the fried calamari. It was cut thicker and was lightly battered which was different from most other places. You could really taste the squid and not just batter. We
Also ordered the chicken with lemon potatoes. The potatoes were so soft and the chicken fell off the bone. It is five hours later and I still feel full in a good way. I should’ve taken more pictures, but was hungry and excited.

Such a warm, welcoming team in Cavo Doro. Ended up there due to poor service in a nearby restaurant.

The menu is varied, there's something for every pallette. The chicken with lemon potatoes is incredible, so good I went back twice before leaving the island.

The setting is beautiful, you can sit indoors or by the waterfront. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They really give 100% in terms of service and they are very helpful by recommending places of interest to visit.

Accueil au top ! Moments privilégié avec le pizzaiolo je pense que c est le boss... pizzas au top moi qui suis pas fan habituellement ! Endroit au top ils chouchoutent les clients au top ! Et digestif offert !
