Mazi is one of the darlings of Ermoupoli's gastronomy: sumptuous decor in the greenery of a secret garden, regular exhibitions in the beautiful interior rooms, a refined menu prepared on the basis of quality local products, delicious and well-balanced cocktails... The list is long and Mazi is a hit. It is absolutely necessary to book in the evening. Everything is perfect: mezzes, tasty meatballs and wonderfully cooked fish. And very good wines.

Contraiment in its name, nothing French in the map but a nice terrace close to Miaouli square where you can serve local and economic dishes. Excellent stop for breakfast or coffee.

This restaurant is run by a French-Greek couple. A magnificent discovery in Syros with beautiful plates, elegant, and a very friendly owner. This café bistro offers mainly French and Mediterranean cuisine to those nostalgic for Provence. In the morning, you can have breakfast (with baguette!) and on weekends, you can come for coffee or a drink in the evening. Light lunch with salads, quiches and sandwiches. A generous and excellent brunch, sprinkled with coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juice.

In a pretty paved courtyard near the beach, this tavern serves a wide variety of fish (the owner and chef, Kostas Bouyiouris, has his own caïques), spaghetti with seafood and small fried fish. It is by far the best establishment in Galissas. Come for an aperitif and dinner to enjoy the sunset.
