This monument, works by artist Pedro Jiménez Corona, celebrates the ethnic diversity of Mexico and symbolizes the beginning and end of humanity.

It is a very pretty lake with crystal clear waters, surrounded by conifers and located on the edge of the raramuri community of San Ignacio. Those who wish to camp there or rent cabins must book directly at the Arareko cooperative's offices in Creel. Possibility to organize hiking or horseback riding with local guides. In winter, the temperature can drop well below freezing. Most day trips from Creel stop there for a few minutes before continuing to Cusarare.

Every day from 19 a. m., a guide takes you to the entrance of this cave where an underground lake houses around 40 000 bats. At about 20 pm, the chiropterans fly together, giving rise to an imposing and surreal spectacle.

Potrero Chico Park, in the Sierra Madre Oriental, is considered one of the 10 best climbing sites in the world. It has many walls, some of which exceed 610 metres of vertical drop. There are dozens of routes, both for advanced climbers and beginners.
