The day is going on on the beach: volleyball, football and swimming pool. And in the evening, 2 000 people can enter the box to still sweat! It reopened in 2009, after extensive renovation.

Opened in the 1930s, it is the oldest cantina in the city. Contrary to the custom that still prevails in some remote areas of Mexico, women are admitted here, as the place is relatively quiet. People don't necessarily come here to get drunk, but rather to play dice or dominoes with friends, with an occasional tequila. La Antigua Paz welcomes a rather diverse clientele made up of students and cowboys alike. On the walls are exhibited vestiges of the revolution. Authentic.

Vinum ac musica laetificant cor hominis ("Wine and music make the heart of man happy"). This is the motto of this friendly bar, located in a warm old house in the centre of the city. It serves draught and craft beers, as well as all kinds of tapas, all of which can be consumed seated at the bar. An alternative place with a relaxed atmosphere, full of various musical and cultural events.

Inaugurated in 1874 as the Teatro Rubio, the theatre functioned as such until 1940, when it was converted into a cinema until 1963; left abandoned, it was destroyed by a cyclone in 1975. It was not until 1992 that it was reopened, in keeping with the original design. On three levels, it can accommodate up to 1,366 people. It offers a fine theater program, which makes it the flagship of Sinaloense culture, as well as temporary art exhibitions and events related to the Festival Cultural Mazatlán.

El Delorean is a bar-disco, at least a space where to celebrate. The theme theme changes daily, some nights, electro music dominates the atmosphere while others can enjoy a live concert. In any case, it is one of the inescapable places of nightlife in Chihuahua. 

Built in 1876, this old finca dates from the golden age of the port of Mazatlan and offers a magnificent setting. In 2010, the place was converted into an (excellent) restaurant with an old-fashioned atmosphere: you can sit in the large inner courtyard where the trees have long since taken over the old stones and the place. The large bar, ventilated by numerous fans, gives the impression of having been here for ages. Ideal for a cocktail at any time of day. The dishes, the fruit of an original culinary creation, are to be discovered.

It was originally a movie set built in the middle of a semi-desert landscape, surrounded by rocky mountains, which we like to associate with Hollywood westerns of the 1970s. The first quality feature film to be shot here was Buck and His Partner, starring Sydney Poitiers and Harry Belafonte. This was followed by a dozen or so notable Hollywood productions and then by lesser quality films. Today, it is a sort of entertainment park built around the traditional single street of western villages.

This is the cultural café that energizes the young local artistic and cultural scene: a large number of events are organized here, from film cycles, theatre, concerts, readings, artistic performances to exhibitions of all kinds. If you want to taste the local mezcals and beers, this is also the place to do it. For the rest, it will be coffee and wine. We love the bohemian atmosphere of the place, with its colourful walls, its mismatched furniture, its modern sculptures and paintings and the small fountain that emits a pleasant gurgling sound.
