This little place serves without a doubt the best in the area, as evidenced by the long line that forms on the sidewalk from 9 or 10 in the morning. Sometimes you have to wait up to 30 minutes to get the Holy Grail: a tasty, perfectly cooked and seasoned pork served in tacos. Purists can also order carnitas by the kilo, to go. There are some stools to sit inside. For a hearty and typical lunch!

Everyone knows Claudio, he is a little the soul of Puerto. Moreover, the pictures that adorn the walls are beautiful testimonies of history. Claudio came from Italy twenty years ago when the port had only 2 500 inhabitants. There are many choices from breakfast to wood fire and pasta. Very good natural fruit juice.

Located above Alcala Lago. It serves delicious pancakes, sandwiches and salads. The decor and the idea of marrying French crêpes and typical food works very well. The crepe at "the flor of calabaza" is the perfect illustration. From the balcony you can enjoy the magnificent view of Santo Domingo. Count between 60 and 80 pesos for this real delight.

This is a very nice little restaurant-bar, with two terraces (one on the street, one upstairs) which is a perfect spot for a late lunch, an aperitif or even an informal dinner. Here, the price of the drinks is accessible, the owners are very friendly and they serve very good meat or vegetarian burgers, as well as Mexican botanas . At the end of the day, the atmosphere is particularly relaxed and more and more festive as the hour turns. An unpretentious place, but terribly effective.

The people of Oaxaca can't get enough of this mobile shop, and for good reason: they've been making the best tacos in town since 2004! Their slogan: "We're not the only ones, but we're the best!" Their tortillas are handmade and a myriad of toppings are offered. Their lechón tacos are especially delicious. Beware of misunderstandings: a stall with the same name is nearby, so be sure to head to the right place.
