Set up for six kilometres in a countryside favourable to the botanical discoveries… most of the hiking takes place in the Colbert reserve, which includes 110 of the 10 600 hectares of the forest of Tronçais - forest which, incidentally, is often regarded as the most beautiful of Europe. You don't need to take the train to discover the Bocage Bourbonnais on this old railway line. Velorails allow you to travel in an original and friendly way along the kilometres of now disused tracks. You can use the electric assistance or do without it, depending on your desire and courage. From the gigantic statues of the Asian pagoda of Noyant to the viaduct overhanging the pond of Messarges. An hour's walk only to reach Puy du Roc and its superb point of view; for the time being, little effort for comfort! The journey begins at the church Notre-Dame de Châtel-Montagne, a historic monument. If the heart tells you, at the beginning or upon arrival, it is worth a visit. The path that awaits you now is sometimes a bit stiff, but rest assured of a few spaces to take up your breath! Take advantage of this for example to admire the Madonna and the child. A few kilometres away and you will reach the destination. At the top, the panorama is grandiose: Gannatois basin, Bois-Noire, Monts Dore, hilly hills and even Puy de Dome by a clear time… A real invitation to contemplation of Lady Nature, which reigns here in a quiet calm.

It is precisely on the Saint-Étienne church that this path begins, and choose, we invite you to discover it at the beginning of June, when the orchids deploy their charm... Each year, also on this occasion, lovers of botany are found around a guided walking: you can admire nine different species of them. This being said, the tour also has enough to fill hikers the rest of the year: it is especially pleasant views of the plain of the Limagne. To reach them however, get some rather steep ascents!

Six tree climbing courses for children, beginners and advanced, installed in the forest. With monkey bridges, trapper ladders, giant steps... For beginners, paddle on the Sioule river. For the experienced, a ride in the bed of the Allier river, surrounded by a wild nature. You will also be able to enjoy amazing fully transparent boats of two and a half places. Stag and hen parties, birthdays, are organized.

The game is similar to golf, but instead of propelling a ball with a club to make successive shots, you have to throw a disc with your arm, aiming one after the other at the 18 baskets lining the park. This requires concentration and dexterity, while checking that the path is clear before throwing so that there is no risk of hitting a passerby. The goal is to complete the course in a minimum number of throws. Accessible to all without particular physical aptitude. Initiations allow to master the technique.

Spend a day with family and friends in the Colettes forest. For thrill-seekers and fun-lovers, try your hand at one of the nine courses of different levels, three of which are test courses. In all, there are 80 platforms, around a hundred games and 26 independent zip lines, from 50 to 200 metres long, crossing the lake. The Accro-Sioule Kids includes five courses, two of which have a 100-metre zip line, designed exclusively for children from one metre upwards, and equipped with a continuous lifeline for maximum safety.

These are two electric bike tours to do with the family on a beautiful day. To the north, the circuit of the Sioule, partly wooded, allows you to pass over two viaducts. It is the most popular and the shortest. In the south, the circuit of Gannat, crosses the agricultural plain of Limagne and the village of Saulzet, with a panoramic view of the countryside. If you really have time, you can complete the whole of the two circuits in 3 hours and 15 minutes. They also offer a day package with a bycicle in the morning and a canoe in the afternoon departing from Ebreuil.

Open from May to August, the local Bourbon pool has 1 25-metre basin, 1 basin in the end, 3 aqualudiques basins for small, 1 games space with trampoline and swings, and for the parents, history not waiting for motionless arms, 1 shaded terrace with bar. The sun is only a few minutes away, so as to spend a pleasant time as a family, at a lower cost, in a green setting conducive to healing.

At the tourist office you will find a map as well as an explanatory brochure that will allow you to discover the 5500 ha of the municipality, easily. In fact, the map lists the 85 hiking bars along the Bourbon roads, while the brochure explains the pictograms that appear on these bars, helping walkers develop their ideal hikes. More playful and original… At the departure of the Tourist Office, this rally proposes to carry out a picturesque journey, by teams of 2 or more, which walks in the heart of the most beautiful views of the corner, and of the bourbonnais heritage. A muette card is handed over to each team, accompanied by a set of photographs of architectural details and other curiosities, which is needed to be able to make progress in the rally. Some questions also spice the course! A good way to combine the useful to the pleasant, especially as gifts await participants on the finish line…

The rifles, quésaco? This is a form of lottery, which is used only once. The game was invented by the Bourbon Tourist Office, and was a great success. It brings together the 1 st and 3rd Monday of the month, in the multipurpose "Robert Chaput Space", many amateurs of convivial entertainment. All the more so as beyond the pleasure of playing, many lots are at the key (televisions, DVD players, to kitchen equipment…).

The school, with 80 students, offers various activities: musical awakening for children from the PC, study of the repertoire through classes of music training, personalized instrumental work, chanterie, child choir, chamber music: duos, trio with pianists. Teachers are all graduates, which guarantees students a high level of education and allows them to successfully pass the various evaluation tests.

To ensure better learning, all teachers at the Bourbon music School are experienced and experienced musicians. The discilplines they teach are varied, from the musical awakening for young children, from 5 to 7 years, with discovery of music and instruments, listening, songs, dances… to instrumental ensembles in the instrument class (guitars, percussion ensembles…), and work of various musical styles (classical, trad, blues, accompaniment of songs…).

Sylvain offers you a fun, sometimes greedy, ride in the undergrowth on an all-terrain electric scooter. To do this, you need to be equipped with a helmet and before setting off, it is necessary to practise for a few minutes on an educational course. It then takes you to discover the forest and the Tronçais region silently and effortlessly, for three hours for the most athletic, and by unsuspected paths. This activity can be practised from the age of 12, depending on the size of the child, as there is a junior model.

Located at the water's edge, on the Belles Rives side, near the bridge. This structure proposes to rent inflatable stand-up paddles and urban long boards, innovative products for all sizes. They organize supervised walks with the possibility of picnicking.
