The Marathon Museum found shelter inside an old school, the oldest in Brewster County. Its foundation dates back to 1888. And that may be the only interest of this museum, which seems to speak only of its own history, if not a bit of the nearby military fort and the city's railway and commercial past.

Undoubtedly, this relatively small bunkhouse and, frankly, not very interesting, is the city's main attraction.
