The Rafting and Canoeing Club was created in 1962 by the USCN (Union Sportive Coarraze-Nay). Thus, all year round, the inhabitants of the Gaves have the possibility to practice river descents, alone, with their family or in groups, supervised by professionals. For the novices, rafting allows to discover white water in complete safety. The most courageous or the most athletic can navigate on more autonomous boats (hot-dog, kayak). The club participates in numerous sports competitions, the good results of which are the pride of the establishment. Training courses are regularly offered in order to discover the discipline or to perfect one's practice.

Explore the white waters of the Basque country between sea and mountains at the Cocktail Aventure leisure park. This secure enclave offers rafting (in unsinkable inflatable boats), inflatable canoeing and hydrospeed in waters of exceptional quality. These boats can accommodate up to 10 people. Canoe trips from the Ur Ondoa rental base offer the ideal experience for families and groups, in complete safety (life jackets are compulsory). The routes are accessible to all, provided you can swim. The hour-and-a-half ride takes place on the most peaceful part of the Nivelle, while thrill-seekers can opt for the hour-and-a-half to two-hour descent to the Roman bridge at Ascain.
