In July and August, ask for the summer guide which proposes hikes with mountain guides, locals who tell you about their country. Without taking the car, you can go on foot on the Saint-Sauveur hill on the Xibaltare path (2 hours round trip): a very beautiful panorama on the Basque and Bearn Pyrenees awaits you there.

It links the Mediterranean with the Atlantic, and offers a rich heritage. This hike, often on hilltops, offers splendid panoramic views of the Pyrenees chain as it crosses the département. With a total distance of 594 km, the maximum altitude is 1,179 m, with a cumulative difference in altitude of 13,717 m.
