Just outside Bayonne and 10 minutes from Biarritz, this 18-hole, par 72, 5,646 m course, designed by American architect Rocky Roquemore, is set in superb surroundings on the edge of an oak forest. In Saint-Jean-de-Luz, jaï-alaï is well known. The local club, Gaztenak, founded in 1982, trains youngsters in pelota, specializing in cesta punta in winter and grand chistera in summer. What is a jaï-alaï? It's a fronton where cesta punta is played, with a side wall perpendicular to the frontis, located to the left of it, and a back wall parallel to the frontis. In 2024, the ^40th edition of the International Cesta Punta will take place.

Agence les Corsaires organizes exciting geological hikes led by Pierrick d'Alleman, an FFFM-certified geologist with a passion for rocks and ancient history, who takes even the most daring hikers on a journey into a world that reveals the existence and secrets of a 65-million-year-old ocean of rocks beneath our feet. On the program: the cliffs of Bidart, Biarritz, the Hendaye coastline, La Rhune, Mondarrain, Artza Mendi and the fossils of Urculu.

I love this hike, which can be completed in half a day. When you leave the village of Bonloc in the direction of Saint-Esteben, keep an eye on the kilometre marker: at the Saint-Esteben milestone (3.5 km), take a small road to the right. And you can stop the vehicle as the road becomes a path: after crossing a stream called Garraldako Erreka, the world is yours! This ascent takes around 2 hours and is accessible to all.

The ascent to the estives is a major event for the valley, and the signposted route is only the lower part of the transhumance from Arette to La Mouline. Located at the Cirque d'Anglas, a historic climbing spot in the Ossau valley, the site is easily accessible (at the end of the small road, passing in front of the supermarket, close to the center, on the D918), while retaining its wild character. The Évasion Pyrénéenne association is committed to protecting the environment. Founded in 1988, it is a registered Nature Protection and Jeunesse et Sports organization. Its main objective is environmental education, by raising public awareness of the need to discover and preserve nature. Through its activities, the association aims to improve everyday habits in favor of our natural heritage.

With 12 members in 2012, the independent club Spelexpo organizes exploration raids for speleologists confirmed in three major caves of the Pyrenees-Atlantic. Especially in the Massifs and Urkulu mountains. And some members leave Laos every year for explorations in the impressive networks in the region.

Built at the end of the ^19th century on the lands of the Countess de Noailles, heiress of Beaumont, the court is an imposing monument in Pau. Built by the architect Virant, the court was described in 1930 by a historian as "the most beautiful court in France and perhaps in the world". After being transformed into a trinquet court, the Jeu de paume de Navarre association is working hard to maintain the hall's original activity. It is possible to reserve slots for initiations, demonstrations and tournaments are regularly organized.

At the beginning of the Loisirs leisure base, a discovery trail leads you to the encounter of the fauna and flora of this mountain. The first step of the journey is to take up to 50 minutes, before meeting the first information panels. They will inform you about the specific aspects of this mountain, such as the presence of the pottok, the typical horse of the Basque Country, the use of kaolin, or the pastoral tradition in Baigura. After 1 p. m., you will have the choice between doing half-turn or continuing on a larger loop, which climbs up to the collar and prolongs the two-hour walk.
