It is known as one of the best jazz festivals in Scotland and takes place in the town of Kirkcudbright, which gives it an extra charm. Born from the initiative of passionate people, it quickly grew. The whole town participates and several jazz dinners are held in the town's restaurants. A good meal, an intimate concert: the formula was a great success! Added to this is a rich program of concerts and everyone finds something to enjoy. In 2023, it is its ^24th edition!

Welcome to the Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival! Established in 1979, it is the largest rural performing arts festival in Scotland. It supports and hosts hundreds of artists who perform throughout the region, in dedicated and non-dedicated venues. The programme is very diverse: theatre, dance, puppet shows, comedy, traditional music... There is something for all tastes, all sensitivities and all ages, but always at a low price.

A day to discover whisky! Stands of the different distilleries of the country will be present, with the possibility of tastings, purchases and discoveries. Masterclasses and various events are organized. Shuttle buses run from Dumfries to the exhibition hall and an on-site cafeteria provides a snack between tasting dramas. 2020 will mark the tenth edition of a show which, little by little, has made its place in the calendar of whisky lovers
