The place is magnificent, surrounded by vineyards. In fact, this "château" is the image of its department: rough, humble, simple, but imposing all the same. The ageing cellars are located in the old chapel. The vineyard is important. Antoine and Robert de Langalerie will make you discover flocs de Gascogne, armagnacs, Agen prunes with armagnac... The Château de la Grangerie is part of the Bienvenue à la ferme network which supports farmers so that they can meet expectations in terms of product tasting.

Since 2015, the estate has been owned by the Burrus family, chocolate merchants and owners of the Alsatian "Schaal" chocolate factory, as well as the "Marquise de Sévigné" and "Yves Thuries" brands. The vineyard covers 21.55 hectares of AOP Côtes-de-Duras. Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon are used to produce both white and red wines. The château also offers wine tourism, enabling wine and chocolate lovers to enjoy these new flavors. The entire vineyard was converted to organic farming in 2023.

Belonging to the Bienvenue à la ferme network, Annick and Gilles Pons welcome visitors to their property. The 13-hectare property produces a Haut-Agenais wine, red or rosé, from noble grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet. And so that the visit can be enjoyed by the whole family, Annick and Gilles have also thought of children: the "Ludivigne" circuit is a fun discovery tour through the vineyard, where parents can accompany their children.

"We do not exploit, we cultivate, what is exploited is impoverished, what is cultivated is enriched This conviction is that of Brice Tingaud, at the head of the Dame Bertrande estate. This former Francilien, seduced by the South-West and the professions of the vineyard, started as a worker and trained with the will and motivation of passionate people and an objective: to make the healthiest and most natural wine possible. The plus: the estate converted to organic farming in 2011.

In 1974, the Geoffroy family acquired the estate. Since then, the vineyard has been completely renovated and restructured. The undisputed star is the 2014 Côtes-de-Duras Sauvignon praised for its devilish precision, spectacular aromatic delivery and cellaring ability. For years, Domaine de Laulan's sauvignon has won recognition from its peers by winning top prizes at the Concours Général Agricole and the Concours National des Vignerons Indépendants, among others. For three generations, the Montel family has been growing vines on the slopes of Thézac, on a stony clay-limestone soil. It is now Yannick, THE producer of IGP Thézac-Péricard wine; he makes accessible and friendly wines. His wines include Tradition, a fruity red to be drunk young, then Dionysos, a more powerful red and finally a rosé, Instant Fraîcheur. This passionate farmer has kept a breeding of Blonde d'Aquitaine and offers their meat. You can also find him on the markets of Bon, Puymirol and Lamontjoie.

Catherine and Isabelle Orliac cultivate 10 ha of vines on their family estate of 30 ha. The sisters combine tradition and modernity to give birth to wines of character with long vatting periods. They produce red wines for laying down, matured in oak barrels, and pleasant and fruity rosés. Recently, following an ancestral family recipe, Catherine and Isabelle have been making "Family Secrets" aperitifs at low degrees, formerly served at the Court of Versailles.

Here for several generations this is the domain of the Laroumagne family. Josette the mom has retired, but she is not the last to welcome you with a smile. His sons Alain and Daniel are also happy to open the door, to show you the orchards, to show you a video illustrating the history of plum and prune… If you'cross'the plum cake taste religiously and without moderation, it is a little wonder. Cathy and Jean-Marie Le Bihan created their vineyard in 1997. For them, the spirit of terroir is paramount. Yields are not part of their philosophy. They work their vines organically and biodynamically, harvesting by hand. No yeast or enzymes are added before maturing in vats. Bottles are available in classic or magnum format.
