The ^14th edition of the Médiévales de Bruch en 2023 was a well-deserved success. The weekend program included medieval games, discovery workshops, a medieval camp and a medieval market with costumed craftsmen. But also music and juggling shows, knights' tournaments and battles, a builders' camp, archery, medieval role-playing, trebuchet shooting... The Knights' Tournament plunges young and old into the epic atmosphere of medieval tournaments, where combatants clad in full armor face off against each other...

Launched in 2014, the Rock'Alibi festival celebrated its 4th edition in 2018. A festival of civic engagement, this event was created by the city to involve young people in the life of the city. Two months before the event, young people aged 12 to 25 participate in numerous discovery workshops around the festival. They can write a song with an artist, discover professionals in communication, security, events... The young passengers then participate in the smooth running of the festival on D-Day. The Rock'Alibi festival starts at 2pm with a large village of citizen engagement where many associations meet. It continues in the evening with a beautiful musical program. The Medieval Days of Monflanquin are known as the white wolf in Lot-et-Garonne. It must be said that the historical setting of this bastide lends itself well to such an event. In 2022, the event celebrated its 30th anniversary. Camelots, minstrels, parades in the alleys, banquets, songs and dances: the whole village gives the impression of having gone back in time to the Middle Ages, taking you along. This is the main event of Monflanquin. Don't miss it!

A 7,200 m² modular exhibition center for a variety of events: exhibitions, fairs, trade shows, artistic activities... The convention center features a 500-seat auditorium and several meeting rooms. Ideally located just a few minutes by car from the city center, train station and main roads, the site welcomes over 100 events and 160,000 visitors and delegates every year. Upcoming shows include Gad Elmaleh's "Lui-même" on 06.07.2024, "The World of Queen" on 22.11, and Malik Benthala's "Nouveau monde" on 28.11.

To close the summer season, Marmande is planning a major gourmet celebration around its red star. The former Tomato Fiesta, now known as the Fêtes de Marmande, returns to its roots! On the menu: two lively days with a large farmers' market, cooking competitions and gourmet stands featuring tomatoes in all their forms. Of course, this festival also involves the Confrérie de la Tomate de Marmande, a PGI tomato with a new label. The knights of the Confrérie de Tomate de Marmande will be inducted into the order, as is only fitting.

Formerly the Grand Pruneau Show, Les Fêtes d'Agen invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy festive, cultural and gourmet events in a convivial atmosphere. There's a farmers' market, food stalls and refreshment stands in the city streets, as well as entertainment. And on the podium in 2024, headliners include Pascal Obisto and Olivia Ruiz. Concerts are free of charge, as are all the street art shows staged in the city center during the Fêtes. A great opportunity to take a trip to Agen!

What sporting event mobilizes the crowds along the roads every summer? The Grande Boucle, of course, now in its ^111th year. The Tour de France last visited Lot-et-Garonne in 2017. The 2024 route includes 2 stages in the département. Thursday, July 11, will start in Aurillac and finish in Villeneuve-sur-Lot. The following day, the riders will set off again from Agen towards Pau. A great moment of popular jubilation ahead, with a sports village and Tour caravan.

In the asparagus capital of the region, some thirty exhibitors liven up this regional festival that kicks off the season. Asparagus takes pride of place, along with flowers, strawberries, honeys and local meats.

The farmers' market includes a velouté meal. At the end of the afternoon, it's time for the World Bundling Championship. The rules of the game: each bundle must weigh 1 kg, be tied with 2 rubber bands, and none must be broken. The day ends with a giant asparagus omelette. Entertainment and bandas. Ideal for families.

The skies over Villeneuve-sur-Lot are going to be full of entertainment for the third edition of "L'aérofestival". The previous year was marked by an impressive demonstration by the Patrouille de France. There's no doubt that the organizers will be going all out again for 2024. In addition to the aerobatic competition, spectators will be able to admire all kinds of aircraft: old cuckoos, military aircraft, helicopters... Flying has always been one of man's great dreams. Count on "L'aérofestival" to dazzle you!

Initiated in 2012, Musick à l'Avance promotes local bands and young talent. A selection of composers and performers are to be discovered at this popular, good-natured festival with open-air music evenings. A food truck will provide on-site catering, and local craft stalls will also be present. The Musick à l'Avance festival (a reference to the local waterway) combines all styles. And to keep the party going, the artists are ready to keep Casteljalousians dancing all night long!

An initiative of the 4 Vents du Bouglonnais association and retired bakers. In 1960, Ivan, the last baker in the village to make wood-fired bread, closed up store, and the smell of freshly baked bread ceased to hang over Bouglon. In 2015, bread and heritage enthusiasts restored the village's communal oven, and since then, a bread festival has been held in Bouglon in early summer. On the program: bread-making and baking in the communal oven, a "auberge espagnole" at lunchtime, and the opportunity to bake your own dishes in the oven.

Summer 2024 will see the château come alive:

- Cloak-and-dagger show with the Musketeers. From July 6 to 24, daily at 2.30pm (duration 30 minutes).

- Falconry show with birds of prey flying over the audience. From July 6 to 24 daily at 4.30pm, from July 25 to August 25 daily at 2.30pm

- Tournament of chivalry from July 25 to August 25 daily at 5.30pm (duration 40 minutes).

- Equestrian fire show, every Friday from July 26 to August 23 at 10.30pm.

Every year, Destination Agen celebrates Halloween, which has become one of the city's must-see events. On the afternoon of Thursday, October 31, children will have the opportunity to listen to tales in the spooky and singular atmosphere of a haunted house located in the medieval heart of the city of Agen. After the chills and shivers, the afternoon will continue with a mask-making workshop and a well-deserved snack.

In this country, breeders are numerous and so are butchers. Because we love meat! The fête des boeufs gras is a popular event, with visitors flocking in early in the morning. The highlight of the day is at 10:30 a.m., when the fattened oxen are paraded through the town from the Ateliers de la Source, followed by the blessing of the oxen by Pépé Lescourège.
