The Wales Millennium Centre aims to be one of Europe's largest stages, as well as a major venue for the promotion of Welsh artistic life. Since its opening in November 2004, the Wales National Ballet has held rehearsals here. The Chapter Arts Centre is an arts center located in Canton, Cardiff, Wales. Opened in 1971, it offers a variety of shows and artistic events. The center has an auditorium and a café-bar. The center is run by Hannah Firth and Sharon Stone, with Rory Duckhouse as assistant to the directors. The programming team includes Hannah Firth as Artistic Director, Claire Vaughan as Head of Film Programming, Sim Panaser as Curator of Visual Art, Kit Edwards as Curator of Performance, Arron Singh as Head of Community Engagement, Molly Harcombe as Programming Assistant and Tom Betts as Head of BFI Film Academy Plus. The Sherman Theatre presents a classical English repertoire as well as plays in Welsh. There are shows for children and families, comedy, dance...
