A traditional sport of the Gascons, the Landes race is still the main event of the village festivals. It begins with the parade of spreaders to the sound of the Cazérien march played by the harmony that accompanies the exploits. The actor settles in the centre of the track, the second, behind him, will have the role of attracting the animal to him when the gap is made. The pilgrimage allows a historical visit of the arenas, the torils with technical videos.

Since 1990, storytelling, in all its diversity and magic, has delighted Capbreton's inhabitants for 4 days. This festival places particular emphasis on young audiences. Mixing imagination with inspiration from travels and encounters, the storytellers imbue the town with the magic of their words. Four days of wonder await young and old at every street corner. The fat markets, a popular and gastronomic tradition well anchored in the Landes. From April to October, local producers offer their flagship products directly on the markets: foie gras, whole geese and ducks, gizzards, confits, duck breasts... Among the best known fat markets, head for Dax (Saturday morning, from November to March), Villeneuve-de-Marsan (Wednesday morning, from October to April), Peyrehorade (Wednesday morning, from November to mid-March), Mont-de-Marsan (Tuesday and Saturday morning) or Saint-Sever (Saturday morning). Not to be missed!

While the Feria de Dax attracts thousands of festival-goers every year, there's plenty to do for sports enthusiasts too. The Feriascapade attracts almost 4,000 athletes every year! This 10 km race, a qualifier for the French championship and part of the Landes road challenge, follows a flat course with no major difficulties around Dax. It is accessible to disabled athletes. The ^26th Feriascapade takes place at the Maurice Boyau municipal stadium. Non-licensed participants will need a medical certificate.

A summer on the banks... An unmissable event for Dacquois, tourists and spa-goers alike! Les Berges Ephémères returns to the Roman city every year. It's for those who don't go on vacation, but also for all those who are looking for a cool spot in the shade of the plane trees, relaxation and entertainment along the river. And the program is packed, with so many partners. Gym tonic, magnet fishing, exhibitions, zumba, family yoga, conferences, theater... You have to see it to believe it!

The Little Festival is a 5-day party in Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse. More than 10,000 electronic music lovers have been coming together since 2017 to dance to the sets of renowned artists such as Yuksek, Etienne de Crecy, Folamour and Bon Entendeur. Every year, this unmissable summer event in the Landes region offers an attractive program as well as street art performances and a spotlight on board sports. In partnership with the Surfrider association, the festival is committed to an eco-responsible approach.
