The Derby is a small family hotel 5 minutes walk from the city centre which will delight you with its very warm welcome. A TV lounge, a flowery garden, a friendly dining room, access to the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, not to mention the pleasant rooms including the "love rooms"... This hotel is a good starting point for visiting the region, especially as the owners do their utmost to offer you interesting package rates. Silberhorn is a charming hotel, very well placed for those arriving by train. Situated in the valley of the 72 waterfalls, at the foot of the Alps, this hotel is quiet and offers a beautiful view of the mountains from the balconies of the rooms. The hotel has a very pleasant winter garden and several completely new areas including renovated rooms which we recommend. The train station is only 150 m away and offers access to the ski resorts and hiking trails. A nice stopover to discover in Switzerland.

Formerly the Hotel du Théâtre, the Swiss Chocolate by Fassbind is now located in this charming building. As the name suggests, the inspiration for this hotel is Swiss chocolate, from the decor to the chocolate fountain that greets guests at the reception. Built over a hundred and thirty years ago, the imposing building housed the Hürlimann brewery (the largest in Switzerland in the 1880s) before being converted into a splendid boutique hotel by the renowned architect Ushi Tamborriello. The treasure of the place is the Wine Library (part lounge, part bar, part restaurant): under a ten-metre-high ceiling, the walls are covered with a library of 33,000 books from which hang huge chandeliers made of Hürlimann beer bottles.
