The Altstadt Hotel is a charming five-storey hotel. Everything is decorated with great elegance. The artist H. C. Jenssen, who designed the intimate, characterful decor in each of the 25 rooms. Our favorite? The Roof Top room, bright and beautiful, with a private rooftop terrace. The view is breathtaking. Special offers are available for longer stays. The hotel also boasts a bar open daily from 7am to midnight. The atmosphere is subdued, with jazz music playing throughout.

The reception staff is particularly kind and helpful in case of need. Great location. Clean rooms. I recommend it.

The breakfast is so limited and modest, that it was hard to believe it is all the hotel offers for the price they want let night. Moreover, leftovers are not attractive to have on breakfast at all.
So the completely disappointing breakfast was certainly negative experience the hotel.
