To collect the keys you have to go to the reception of Thon Hotel Andrikken, where you can also have breakfast if you wish. They are not the best equipped cottages we know of, but they are very good and at least provide a good rest.

Bardufosstun was built around the theme of sport. For more than 50 years, many athletes in northern Norway (such as Jan Lindvall, Vegard Ulvang, Marianne Dahlmo, Fred Børre Lundberg, Bjarte Engen Vik) have seen this facility as a good training centre. At the other end of the village is a group of rorbuer, the oldest of which date from the 1800s. Tastefully restored, they are equipped with a kitchenette and a shower. In the main building overlooking the docks, a lovely little café made of white wood is arranged around its central fireplace. The rorbu is a fisherman's hut on stilts typical of northern Norway, more precisely of Lofoten.
