Svang opened in 2018 and is one of the best restaurants in town! Fish takes pride of place, especially those caught locally the day or the day before. Vegetables are also sourced from nearby farms wherever possible, and the restaurant is ethically conscious overall. The dishes are very well presented and the flavors blend particularly well. It also doubles as a wine bar. A great success!

Mrs. Jin As will welcome her customers with a simple and generous cuisine. You will find with pleasure traditional dishes such as pad thai, fried noodles with vegetables, or curries that will warm up the customers after a day of hiking, or after having raced down the ski slopes. It is possible to order dishes a little less typical of Thailand like sushi!

Corner Spiseri is probably the restaurant in Honningsvåg with the best view of the sea. In a relaxed and cozy atmosphere (the dimmed lights and the floor add a certain elegance to the place), customers can enjoy local specialties based on salmon and other fish while admiring the sun setting behind the mountains, or simply enjoy a beer at the counter. Meat lovers can order stews. Hamburgers and some fried food are also available.

Just like at home, Rodolf and Anita open the door of their little house. The buffet is varied every day, with a wide choice of salads, fish, salmon and other carefully prepared local products. Skolestua is an old school, and the restaurant room is reminiscent of it: school chairs, wooden tables, slates, overlooking the fjord. As they say here, the Klatrekaféen is at the same time "an English pub, a Nepalese tea house, a restaurant in the South of France and a base camp on Everest" and it's true, at the strait of a pretty alley decorated with Nepalese prayer flags, the Klatrékaféen is a bit of all that, a nice mix of genres, a warm place that offers to everyone to be a bit at home and yet so far away. The café-restaurant offers something to eat, small dishes, pastries, drinks etc... Our favourite place in Henningsvaer.

Svinøya Rorbuer's restaurant, Børsen Spiseri, offers exceptional cuisine in a charming setting full of history. In this old house built in 1828, with its crisp flooring, you can sit comfortably around one of the candle-lit wooden tables to enjoy the specialty, dried cod, or stockfish, in all its forms! Of course, the restaurant offers a choice of several dishes (based on fish, of course, but not only) made from local products and cooked with invention and originality.

A very nice address in Svolvaer. We'd recommend it as a bar, but Bacalao also offers an attractive menu at very reasonable prices (burger, salads, fish & chips, mussels & French fries, vegetarian dishes). The HQ of the local youth, the spacious bar with its subdued atmosphere and surf décor, the open fire in winter and the atmospheric playlist: the place is warm and cosy, and you soon feel right at home. In summer, Bacalao's large terrace overlooks the harbour. On weekends, bands also perform here.

One of the best addresses on the island can be found south of the Lofoten in Sorvagen. Welcome to the Maren Anna, where Annette, Jean Baptiste and their team welcome you all year round with a smile. Their specialty? The Stockfish of course! We also invite you to taste the fish soup, saithe and many other specialties cooked with care and imagination. During the day, the place could be compared to a good brasserie, while the restaurant wears its evening dress and is akin to a "good table".

The Scandic Hotel's restaurant is one of the best in Narvik. The place is modern, chic and yet unpretentious. A good address for occasional meals. On the 16th and top floor of Scandic City, you will find the panoramic Totta bar with a beautiful terrace. Ideal to end the evening in beauty. Every morning a great breakfast is served.
