Polarjazz Festival in Longyearbyen, the world's most northerly jazz festival, has established itself in just a few years as a benchmark quality festival for the country's finest musicians. The festival takes place in Longyearbyen, the largest town on Spitsbergen Island in the Svalbard archipelago. It's a special time to enjoy the polar nights and the rapidly lengthening days. At latitude 78 ° north, sportsmen from Norway and from all over the world come to the most northern ski marathon in the world.

Every year in March-April, the cod returns to the Lofoten Islands! So in Svolvaer, we decided to celebrate by organizing the international cod fishing festival. This festival was first held in 1991. Today there are about 600 participants, most of them amateurs, 80 boats taking part in the competition, and even more visitors attracted by the festivities. This 4-day festival is a good representation of the local culture!

Bodø has been named European Capital of Culture for 2024, and the program promises to be packed! It's the biggest cultural project to take place in Norway in the last 10 years, and the biggest ever to take place in the Nord-Norge region. So it's a must-see, especially as numerous events will be taking place throughout the year.
