This fishing guide instructor, regularly rewarded during competitions by trophies, is a specialist in sport fishing for carnivorous fish, by boat, in dams: drifting, vertical, handled, pulling. But also : trout fishing with natural baits, Pyrenean technique. He invites you to discover the most beautiful sites of Auvergne, to fish for carnivorous fish (pike perch, pike, perch) in the Truyère valley. His two favorite sectors are the Cantalian dams: Garabit Grand Val (1 100 ha) and Sarrans (1 200 ha). Carnivorous fish are abundant in these hydroelectric dams and guarantee unforgettable fishing trips.

CEERTA has been hosting car and motorcycle driving schools and enthusiast clubs on its dirt (1,000 to 2,000 meters) and asphalt (2,474 meters) circuits for almost 20 years. CEERTA also organizes open days, safety courses and tests for new vehicles and equipment. Activities that harmoniously combine passion and work, sensations and training, conviviality and team spirit.

With its 25-meter covered pool and six water lines, the Aqualudic Center is an ideal space for swimming lovers. And, for those who just want to enjoy a moment with family or friends with their feet in the water, the balneo-ludic area or the paddling pool are also a good alternative. A wellness area also offers a sauna, a whirlpool and a hammam. In the summer (from July¹ to August 31), it is also possible to enjoy the outdoor pools. You can also take swimming lessons, aquagym, etc.

Founded in 1944, the Issoire - Le Broc aerodrome invites you to a baptism (discovery flight) to appreciate the sensations of a flight in a two-seater glider. At an altitude of 900 meters, enjoy 20 to 60 minutes in the air depending on the weather. It is also possible to opt for a 20-minute flight in a small plane (up to 3 passengers), always accompanied of course by an experienced pilot! Nothing like it to appreciate the beauty and richness of the Issoire region. You can also ask to fly towards the Sancy or the puy de Dôme.

Héli Volcan offers panoramic helicopter flights of 10 to 30 minutes over Issoire, the Sancy massif and the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne. Feel like an adventurer? Take the "Pilot for a day" experience, a 15 or 30-minute initiation to flying over Issoire, during which you'll be at the controls of a helicopter!

This 2.2 km trail offers you to walk on the volcanic hillock on which the village of Usson was built. Among the most beautiful villages of France, Usson was for nearly 20 years the place of exile of Marguerite de Valois, wife of Henri IV. Today, the castle in which she was held no longer exists, but the village has many other resources. The path first takes you to visit the village itself, before going up to the statue of the Virgin to get a complete panorama of the surrounding mountains. It finally leads you to a façade of basaltic organs carved by the effect of time and rain.

In the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park, Espace VTT N° 1 offers rental of mountain bikes, electric bikes and all-terrain scooters. Once you're equipped, you can set off on the various signposted circuits on offer, such as the Circuit du Moulin de la Rode(19 km) or the Circuit VTT Cade Les Améthystes ® (23 km). Another activity is orienteering, a fun way to discover the surrounding countryside. Everything you need for a green day out, just 15 minutes from Issoire!

A sandy beach, water, bathers: you are not dreaming, you are still in the Livradois-Forez. The lake and the leisure centre have recently been developed for the pleasure of young and old. With family or friends, you can go for a pedal boat ride, take the time to share a picnic or gather around the barbecue.
