The most beautiful natural sites to discover Lacs italiens

This public park on the shores of the lake houses a bar, the Tarocchiera, in an old house where the rich local families come to play aux. Other sights of the site include: a large staircase connecting the two parts of the park and a large fountain with two overlapping dolphins by young children.

This natural gorge was created 15 million years ago. Over the years, erosion by the Pioverna torrent and the Adda glacier carved out the rock and formed the narrow canyon we see today. The site can be explored along footbridges over the water, offering wonderful views of the waterfalls and the rocks on which the light reflects.

This park is located on the Riviera del Gambarogno, between the small villages of Vairano and Piazzogna. Occupying a small elevation, it owes its creation to the nurseryman Otto Eisenhut who, in an area of 17,000 square metres, has gathered more than 950 species of flowers (camellias, magnolias, azaleas, junipers, exotic firs). It can be reached by car and bus (stop in front of the Gambarogno restaurant; the park is 2 minutes away, just after the bridge).
