Baveno-Oltrefiume-Feriolo-Torre. 2h15 return. From the Villa Fedora park, turn left towards Oltrefiume. Continue along Via Lavarini and the Strada Cavalli which joins the main road. Then turn left and take the path that leads to the tower with picnic area.

Baveno-Roncaro-Campio-Campino-Alpinia-Mottarone. 2h15 on the way out and 1h25 on the way back. From the lake shore in Baveno, climb to Roncaro and Campino. The route, with views of Lake Maggiore, leads to the summit of Mottarone.

A short to exchange some balls, if you don't have a land in your campsite or hotel. Rental at a very reasonable price.

This Como aviation club allows you to experience the thrill of flying over the lake and its mountains in a hydroplane (from 2 to 4 people per aircraft). Various tours are offered on Lake Como. It is the opportunity to discover the lake in a different way and to enjoy an incredible view of Bellagio, Como and the surrounding villages. It is located just outside the historical centre, along the lake. The staff is very friendly to advise you and direct you on flights according to your wishes and budget.

For the curious who have always dreamed of knowing where the handsome George Clooney drinks his espresso, well Tasell takes you right in front of the star's villa! A little less glamorous but just as chic, you can enjoy guided and commented speedboat excursions to discover the most beautiful villas. The less adventurous can go for a ride on the water in small groups by renting a pedal boat. Ideal with family or friends.

Why not take advantage of your holidays to discover this sport or to improve yourself a little? The lake's golf course is one of the oldest in Europe and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2007. It is an 18-hole golf course with a beautiful view of the lake. It is a very British looking club house with the most impressive library of golf literature in Italy. Who knows, you might be lucky enough to bump into George Clooney on the green, since it is indeed Mr Nespresso's club! And the best part: the good restaurant on site.

Why not visit the lake in a different way, while still retaining its full independence? Close to the beach of Lecco, the Lido Orsa Maggiore allows you to rent motor boats to take a ride on the lake. 40 hp engines, nautical licence not necessary. If the idea can make you dream, it has however a high cost, but daily rates are possible. The boats can accommodate four people. Reservation is highly recommended.

A beautiful equipped beach on green grass to swim and relax in the sun. The overall view of the lake is really special. You can relax here for hours, just chilling out. For those who prefer the swimming pool on the program: slide, dives and aquagym lessons. Deckchairs are available for lounging by the pool. Ideal for families, in the park there is a playground for children. There is also a sports area in the park with some weight training equipment and a beach volleyball court.

Not far from the centre of Iseo, Sassabanek is a campsite that opens its sports centre to the public. Many facilities are available: a beautiful equipped beach on the lake, three swimming pools with bouncy castles for the youngest, playground for children, tennis court... To take a break, you can eat at the bar-restaurant or enjoy one of the many picnic tables. The plus: possibility of water sports (kayak, canoe, windsurf and small sailboat rental, outing with skipper possible).

Iseo Bike offers you a very professional service for renting bicycles, scooters, but also canoes, kayaks, paddles and pedal boats. On the bike side, they are well equipped with both adult and children's bikes as well as an offer of electric bikes. They also provide a map with the most interesting routes and itineraries to make the most of the region - especially along the Franciacorta route, exploring the vineyards. Iseo Bike also offers guided excursions.

To the north of Bergamo, this regional park is a green lung at the gates of the city. Visible from the ramparts of the Upper City, the wooded hills cover more than 4,700 hectares. Here and there villages and ancient churches are scattered throughout the territory. 15 km of footpaths for walking or cycling await those who love hiking. Ask for a map of the park at the tourist office to make the most of it. In summer, it is the perfect place for a picnic!

You can rent an electrically-assisted mountain bike online and reach the steepest corners of Ticino. The fleet comprises around 30 full-suspension e-Mountain Bikes in various sizes. You can pick up your bike at a dozen hotels throughout the canton. You can be accompanied by an experienced guide for simple rides or more technical rides on forest paths if you're experienced. Prices vary according to the number of participants.

Born in Catania on 24 November 1924, Salvatore Furia moved to Varese on¹ October 1940. Fascinated by nature, he never ceases to promote this exceptional natural site and its quality sky (he is notably at the origin of a law protecting the night sky from light pollution in March 2000) and he founded the observatory in 1956 and develops it with passion. And it is a real success! Daytime visits are appreciated (even more so in the evenings), which allow visitors to enjoy a splendid view of the region.

For sports enthusiasts, water sports fans and the curious! Thanks to its calm waters, Lake Varese is one of Italy's most famous venues for rowing championship training. An activity that this historic club has been developing for many years. If you spend a long time on the lake, you may be able to sign up for a series of courses. And for rowing enthusiasts, Varese is the venue for the 2021 European Rowing Championships.

Along the coast, on the road between Dongo and Gravedona, this sailing school managed by a young and dynamic team offers sailing courses for all levels, adults and children alike. If you have time, you can also take your sailing licence here or rent a small sailing boat for a regatta on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The place is well situated for sports lovers, as there are regularly strong winds blowing around here. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor, this is an ideal spot.
