Large mineral park still preserving intact several iron mines in Lecco.

On the heights of the lake, at 1,300 m, a vast mineral park still preserves several iron mines, the oldest of which were already being exploited in the 17th century. A guided tour reveals the hard life of the miners, as well as the secrets of the mountain as you descend into its depths. Along the corridors and galleries dug into the rock on several levels, you'll learn about the different mineral extraction systems over the centuries.
