What is Total Festum? Total Festum is Occitanie's festival of Catalan and Occitan languages and cultures. Around the summer solstice and Sant Joan, music rubs shoulders with traditional dances, totemic animals mingle with shows, literature takes center stage and fire shows light up hearts. Between conviviality, sharing and discoveries, this event is an ode to tradition and memory, a resolutely forward-looking look and an anchoring in the present. La Saint-Louis is a 4-day festival of parades (representing all the districts) through the streets to the rhythm of the peñas, square-ball tournaments, tributes to railway workers and concerts at the Théâtre de la Mer. On the last day of the festivities, Sétois and jousters gather in the Place de la Mairie, nicknamed the "Place du Poufre", to enjoy macaroonade (and build up their strength!), before the Languedoc jousting tournaments that bring the weekend to a close. Toulouse is a major stop on the men's and women's 7-a-side rugby world circuit. The event sets the Ernest Wallon stadium alight every year, and fans from all over the world come to cheer on their country. Matches take place all day long over 3 days, and the Fan Zone offers everything spectators need to enjoy the event: refreshment stands, food trucks, slide belly, rugby activities, climbing, relaxation zone, bandas... A truly festive weekend!

Jazz à Sète is one of the most awaited festivals of the summer by music lovers. It welcomes prestigious and even mythical artists and music lovers from all over the world. The ingredients for its success are simple: a thousand shades of jazz, a beautiful conviviality and a magical setting with the Mediterranean as a backdrop. Every summer at the Théâtre de la Mer, the legends of the genre are honored; their notes intertwine and intertwine to offer the public unforgettable musical stops.

The centre for Choreographic Development of Toulouse-Midi-Pyrénées organizes this event featuring contemporary dance performances from France and elsewhere.

Active since 2001, the Toulouse-based association Les Vidéophages is a leading figure in the distribution of short films and image education. A genuine alternative in the audiovisual landscape, its programming is atypical, friendly and associative. Favoring partnerships with local authorities, cultural centers and educational structures, Vidéophages plays an active role in democratizing access to short films. The Faites de l'Image festival, launched in 2002, is emblematic of this desire to take images out of their context and reach out to all audiences.

In this emblematic architectural and heritage venue in Toulouse's Saint-Cyprien district, on the banks of the Garonne River, the Fragments show invites you to discover the region's arts and crafts. A total of 80 exhibitors, representing 13 departments, will be on hand to share their passion with you. You'll find a wide range of crafts: furniture, architecture, jewelry, restoration, ceramics, leather, metal, goldsmiths, paper, textiles, glass...

Every year, the town of Port-La Nouvelle comes alive for its anniversary! Celebrated on 21 July - the date on which the commune was officially proclaimed in 1844 - it is punctuated by musical entertainment and an impressive firework display. While waiting for the first bursts of light around 10.30pm, the curious can count on the Trait d'union Périer band to provide the atmosphere from the Place Saint-Charles.

Every year as autumn arrives, the rue de la Colombette gets coloured: it's time to gather around a fair that has existed since 1944. It is organised by the Commune Libre de la Colombette, founded at the end of the war, which defends the craftsmen and independent shopkeepers of the district. For three days, in a joyful street market with more than two hundred exhibitors, meet shopkeepers and cultural associations involved in concerts, workshops and events. The spirit that reigns honours craftsmanship, eco-responsible behaviour, sharing... A real compendium of joie de vivre at Toulouse time!

Present in Toulouse for over 30 years, the Séquence Court-Métrage festival has become a not-to-be-missed event for lovers of short films. Every year, over 1,300 short films, ranging from fiction to animation to documentary, are screened during the festival. From the four corners of the globe, these little audiovisual nuggets offer a rich and varied panorama of contemporary short films. Whether you're a seasoned film buff or simply curious, Séquence Court-Métrage is sure to satisfy with its rich and exciting program.

The association Toulouse Polars du Sud was born from the meeting of book professionals and readers. It organizes evenings, meetings and exhibitions to promote detective literature and to encourage people who are far away from it to read. Its most important event takes place on the second weekend of October with its annual festival: during three days, the noir novel falls on the pink city! Mainly centered in the Mirail district, it also takes place in libraries, media libraries and bookstores in the city center and the surrounding area.

The conservatory of music and drama named Manitas de Plata opened in 2020. This new building with a sober and refined design is over 6,400^m2. Built on the Quai des Moulins, it contains a 400-seat auditorium that hosts events specific to the conservatory, but also cultural events. There is also a restaurant area, rehearsal rooms and two large patios. Concerts and performances are filled with discoveries.

This 3-day show is undoubtedly the motorcycle event of the year in the Narbonne region. It was inaugurated for the first time in 2004. All the major brands and representatives of motorcycles, scooters, quads, accessories and services are present every year. Sporting events are also organised as well as demonstrations. This show is a must for any self-respecting two-wheeler enthusiast!

Every year, Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée organizes the Oursinade de Thau, a gourmet and popular festival in March. From the Place Léon Blum to the Rue Gambetta via the Rue de Strasbourg, some forty exhibitors come to present the region's terroir and delight the taste buds of shellfish, sea urchins and other seafood lovers. The atmosphere is convivial, punctuated by concerts, and other local culinary specialties are also honored such as the brasucade, the tielles and other ancestral or more contemporary recipes.

Since 2015, Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée has been organizing the Estivales de Thau, a gourmet agrotourism event. On this territory labeled "Vignobles & Découvertes", this event highlights the richness and know-how of local wine and shellfish producers. Every Thursday evening in July and August, people come to the heart of the villages to discover tasting stands, wines and local products. A great way to savor the treasures of the area in a festive and musical atmosphere.

This colorful and convivial festival pays tribute to the most famous child of the country: Georges Brassens, who wanted to be buried on the beach of Sète... The Cap Brassens association organizes this event from October 22, day of the birth of the composer-poet. It takes place in the whole Revolution district and starts from his birth house with a whole lot of concerts, meetings and other exhibitions. It is a week of celebrations, joys and discoveries. A cultural action around poetry, generosity and commitment.

For a quarter of a century, this unique festival has been a sailing stage on the Canal du Midi. The Convivencia cultural association, located on the southern outskirts of Toulouse in Ramonville, programs concerts on a traveling barge. A variety of world music is represented as the barge travels from Toulouse to the Mediterranean. Each port of call has its own program. Concerts are accompanied by tastings, river heritage events and exhibitions... Great festive and convivial moments along the water.

Be a spectator at another Languedoc jousting tournament, this time in Marseillan! This traditional sport, which has its roots in Frontignan dating back to 1627, has remained intact and is practiced in eight towns in the Hérault and one in the Gard. The fight begins as soon as the oboes and drums sound the charge, and you can then watch, in a traditional musical atmosphere, as the jousters clash, all dressed in white, on their blue and red boats.

An emblematic event in the land of rugby, the Toulouse Rugby Festival is a festive event open to all, with joyful entertainment dedicated to the oval ball. On the program: exhibition matches in classic rugby and wheelchair rugby, initiations for children, a host of fun activities... Several tournaments are organized: rugby à 5, women's rugby, rugby-entreprise and inter-school matches for the youngest. It's a celebration of sport that usually ends with a giant Haka and a broadcast of a TOP 14 match!

The association Toulouse à Table organizes culinary events throughout the year, but Le Grand Banquet is the event of the year! On the Place du Capitole, the event is conceived as a place of gustatory discoveries, meetings, sales, information, in a word: sharing. K-Live is the very first festival of the summer. Dedicated to urban cultures, it invites street-artists to color the walls of the city with their murals, under the amazed eyes of onlookers. The works enrich the Open Sky Museum (MACO). The program is also open to children who wish to discover street art under the guidance of young artists of the genre. During the festival, you can also meet on the beach, in the city center or at the theater of the sea to party to the sound of the joyful turntables of carefully selected DJs.

Created by enthusiasts of the seventh art, this Festival is dedicated to audiovisual art. It offers the screening of many carefully selected films, often little known to the general public, but also workshops, meetings, street art... In theaters, on the beach, outdoors, you will discover films but also series, clips, homage to a filmmaker, previews, bridges between the world of rap and cinema: this very rich event honors various artistic forms and allows you to admire beautiful nuggets.

Don't miss the olive festival in Bize-Minervois! During a whole day, it is the occasion to learn the secrets of the olive tree, from the culture of the tree to the benefits of the olive oil. On the program: demonstration of pruning and grafting of olive trees, conference on the cultivation and maintenance of the olive tree, great aioli competition, aperitif, lunch... The Mise Au Point festival, known as MAP, is a cultural event entirely free of charge dedicated to amateur photography. For twenty-five years, the 31 Notes d'été festival has combined culture, heritage and tourism by offering free concerts, shows, fifty or so tourist and cultural visits and exhibitions throughout the Haute-Garonne. The objective being to create links, no less than 36,000 people gathered in 2022 for the whole festival throughout the department to experience moments of shared emotion. How can you miss this crazy summer event, the only one of its kind in the world? The concept is simple: a 35 x 40 m rugby pitch floating on the Garonne River in the heart of the "ville rose", with no touchline or end zone: you have to dive to score! It's 4 days of rugby, festivities and conviviality, with the main EAU'LL STAR tournament featuring French and international players, as well as a number of tournaments organized in parallel to enable all fans to get out on the pitch and dive into the river!

The commune of Montgiscard welcomes the sporting event of the Round of Chardon every month in April. Two races of 5 km and 10 km will then be made available to passionate, casual and more trained athletes. The routes alternate between asphalted roads and countryside roads, with a positive 200 m. There are no great difficulties in prospects; who knows, maybe you will find your ideal jogging itinerary?

On a 740,000-year-old islet formed by a lava flow, a building stands just a stone's throw from the Agatha coast. In 1586, Viscount de Joyeuse seized the island and built the first fort: Fort de Brescou. The town of Agde is celebrating this remarkable edifice that watches over its coastline with a magnificent fireworks display on the fort's ramparts. As part of Total Festum, the Tambourine League is organizing workshops based on the sports and traditions of the Occitanie region. The program includes initiations to Balle au Tambourin, wooden games, traditional dances, CIRDÒC play trails, rugby, Camargue racing... But also a festive evening with musical initiations, Occitan songs and lively on-site catering.

COCU? The Organizing Committee of the Unified Carnival! It is this colourful association that organises the Toulouse Carnival. On the initiative of several student and cultural associations, the arrival of spring is celebrated as it should be. It all starts with a descent of the Avenue de la Colonne in a soapbox. Music, refreshments and workshops, the atmosphere is guaranteed. Then there is a treasure hunt followed by a neighbourhood party on Place de l'Extrapade, which lasts several days, with small gifts from the shopkeepers! Finally comes the parade, which starts with the handing over of the keys of the city by the Mayor and ends with music after, of course, the cremation of Mr. Carnaval.
