This golf course has been in existence since 1878 and is one of the most prestigious on the island. Originally, there was a stretch of sandy moorland, covered with heather and nicknamed the Common. This area was gradually fortified to counter the assaults from the sea. Then, in the 19th century, the Common became a racetrack and was finally transformed into the prestigious Royal Jersey Golf Club. Here you will get a glimpse of the island's history. Just a few steps from the Longueville manor, here is a superb golf practice range to initiate yourself or practice before going to the prestigious neighbor where you can really tease the little white ball. It is a high quality practice range, with 20 shooting zones. You can follow all your performances and statistics on a screen. What's more, you can even go late because it is lit up after dark.
